NO bid from @LFC for Nabil Fekir. YET. Contrary to reports in France, no formal offer so far, but Reds ARE keen to tie up deal before World Cup and will intensify efforts in talks over next week. Fekir met with Lyon president and made clear wish to leave

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas will not stand in the way of Fekir moving. But he wants to stall talks until after the World Cup in the hope the France midfielder increases in value. @LFC will push to conclude deal before tournament starts.

Smart from Aulas. Fekir's value won't go down and a big showing at the WC could certainly raise his value and bring in bigger clubs than Pool. Fekir should wait it out too IMO. Could see a Bayern, United or Chelsea come in for him.

He was linked with Barca and Madrid last year. Highly rated talent, especially in Portugal. Supposed to be an understudy to Valencia (lol) I'd never heard of him prior to the links either

he is declining but would still be a good signing, if the numbers make sense IMO

I remember him dominating against Juve midfielder in CL this year tbh
At the end I think he has everything to perform good in Serie A
Especially because we need exactly of that type of midfield.
I don't want again Gagliardini or Vecino ( even if he is a hero. But we can be heroes, just for a day )
