Curry looks like he's getting abused on defense
lol what else are they going to do. It's the weakest link in our defense because of height, length and size, and Cavs have proven before that that is the best way to score on us and psychologically try to rattle Steph, but that shit doesn't work anymore because we're so superior in every aspect.

I'm done with the opinions of anyone who legit gave Houston a chance.
Their best player is the least conditioned star I've ever seen. Can only play well in game 1s apparently.
Our here averaging 20 points on 36% FG and 27%3pt in games that are not game 1s
Idiots, pure and simple.

Sure Durant scored 38 but I think you just have to accept, you can‘t stop him when he‘s going but the likes of Klay Thompson, Livingston, Young getting open 3s was the more damaging for the Rockets. Luc, Ariza and Tucker were poor on both ends of the pitch.
Game 2 just has to be won or it‘s game over (inb4 it‘s game over already, yes yes).

That's more because he stupidly dribbles the ball for like 20 seconds of the shot clock.
Not really surprising he tires out.

He used to tire out when he had to carry the whole team‘s offense, now with Chris Paul it doesn‘t happen as often anymore.

If he plays every game like last night then he will tire out, it was like Chris Paul doesn't exist.

Well last night he had to because the Warriors stopped Paul‘s midrange which is basically his entire game and the rest of the team went cold, Gordon and Paul padded their stats late in the game but when it mattered in the first 3 quarters, they were poor. Luc Mbah a Moute had 0 points, Tucker missing easy lay ups, Ariza on foul trouble.
As we saw against Utah and Minnesota though, when he trusts his teammates more and they are shooting well, he will pass and naturally the whole team plays better.

That's how he plays every game. And he's shit on defense, so they'll keep iso'ing him to tire him even more.
Rockets's offense is not built for GSW at all. Anyone who suggested that are idiots. If anyone is built for GSW it would be Utah or Boston.

I just don't think the Warriors are beatable
Talent, chemistry, experience, coaching... like what can you do?
You can't outscore them, can't really defend them. Their bench is usually filled with capable shooters/decent players on purposely smaller contracts
It's just the state of the league until something changes
I think we have at least a couple more seasons of this, barring something unreal happening this off season

They are beatable tbh, it's just nobody is really set up to take advantage atm. ( either injuries or just missing a piece here and there)
There's teams which potentially could if things go the right way, but their room for error is much larger than everyone elses.

Only team that can potentially beat them are the Rockets, and if they can‘t then no one can‘t with the current rosters.

That‘s not how he plays every game.
35% of his possessions every game are isos. It's how he plays every game.
In playoffs leads the league in isos per game at 10.
LeBron is second with 9.2
Wall third 6.7 Those are the only players averaging more than 5 isos per game.
Those are limited samples.
Here is the regular season stats:
1st: Harden with 10 ipg
2nd: LeBron with 6.4 ipg
3rd: John Wall with 5.2 ipg
Harden averages double amount of isos per game than anyone but LeBron. To say he doesn't play like this every game is just not right. He averages the exact same in playoffs as he's done all season.
It's ridiculous how much he isos an entire shot clock without any movement from his offense.

We need Lakers, Boston and Philly to get FAs, develop players and stay healthy for when they get older or run into cap difficulties.
I'm just hyped for off season at this point.
Also draft lottery tonight guys!

Nope, Boston when healthy have a much better suited roster to deal with Golden State.

Yes he‘s one of the best ISO players in the league and a very ball dominant player but last night he was playing more ISO than usual (even for his standards) because of how poor the rest of the team were offensively. And I don‘t blame him, he kept it close as much as he could.
Hopefully Wednesday night is a better shooting game for the bench and wing players and we’ll see more passing from Harden.

When it happens then I’ll agree, but as it stands there’s no one can who can beat them if the Rockets can’t.

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Why? It's not like Houston have a history of beating them in the playoffs, it's just hype based on the regular season.
The reason i say this is because what a lot of teams don't seem to realize is you don't beat Golden State by offence.
It's defense how you beat them, Boston when healthy would have one of the best PGs in the league with a history of success against Golden State in the playoffs, depth, wings and guards who are athletic and can switch and a versatile big.
None of these things can be said by anybody on Houston, they beat us because of their defence. We can hang with them offensively but defensively due to our limitations on the wings we can't.

By whom though, and when?
This is the fourth consecutive season of domination, their only loss was a laughable bottle job of a 3-1 lead after losing Draymond for 2 (if I recall correctly), crucial games. Their response, dropping Harrison Barnes for Kevin Durant. Whew.
The only one who can take them down is LeBron and not alone, he needs probably 2 superstars with him and a bench

Re: The Official Dwayne Wade <<<<<< you thread
Celtics as i've already mentioned, also you'll laugh but honestly matchup wise we are not million miles away.
Cousins coming back and being able to add a serviceable wing would make us equipped matchup wise as much as anyone.
Philly are not miles away either considering Simmons and Embiid will continue to improve at a rapid pace.
I don't think them throughly outclassing the opposition isn't doomed to happen forever as some may think. There are teams who are close to actually matching up with them so it's competitive.
Not saying those teams can beat them but they are equipped to do so in the future if things go their way.

@Mole
And Boston have a history of beating this Warriors team in the playoffs? C’mon man.
This team is not a bad defensive team, last year the Rockets were statistically like the 16th best team defensively and now they are 6th I think thanks to some squad additions like Tucker, Luc and the improvement of Capela (who needs more minutes @D’Antoni)
Last night was a bad game defensively, but I don’t think they are going to leave the likes of Klay Thompson, Nick Young and Livingston on so many ipen shots again. Same happened in the Utah game with Ingles and they stopped him next.

No but i'm not the one saying Houston are the only ones who can compete.
Smart, Kyrie, Horford, Brown, Tatum etc etc just matchup better with Golden State's skillset than Houston's do.
Harden has never had success against this team and CP was destroyed by them when he was in LA, at least Kyrie has a history of success against them and as a i said the rest of the team actually matches pretty well with them.
