Who will qualify? (Select two teams)

#SEN continue to innovate, with the most joyous training methods of any team at the #WorldCup. How can anyone root against them? pic.twitter.com/gOYw5g5nlm

What a bunch of happy melts, would never catch a real champion acting like that.

Milan could use a forward like Senegal's CF imo. Quick, tall and direct.

My pick would actually be Nanatsu no ko. It is nationally known(already played at kids graduations), and a powerful song that actually would feel like Japan.

Either the Senegalese players are super fast, or we are super slow. I cant believe what I am watching. Its like we are in quicksand.

Senegal is far superior physically, it makes a world of difference for Japan since they don't have the technical talent to overcome that.
#14 makes decent runs but no one finds him, the playmakers lack awareness.

Physicality aside none of you guys actually think Senegal is better than this Japanese side though do you?

Haven't really been watching this game but Senegal were definitely better against Poland than Japan were against Colombia.
It's not just physicality, they're one of the few small/underdog teams in this tourney that doesn't panic when they get possession, they actually have a plan and are very good on the counter.

That Colombia side is better than the polish side senegal faced. I expect Colombia to blow past them later.

I just browsed through Senegal's roster to see who Rincon was referring to. Their tallest forward is 185cm/6f. Not exactly a giant. I think Japan's players are just relatively short. I still don't know which forward Rincon was referring to

Yeah, I meant in comparison with the Japanese. Obviously they're not all 2 meter monsters but still they won the physical war against us as well

I only watched parts of the first half, but yeah, most of the Japanese players were getting outrun and outmuscled.

It's not only about being taller. It's about athletism: strength, agility, speed. Senegal is above in every point.
