Hipsters on Reddit were telling me Peru was gonna walk all over their " overrated " European opposition.
Thanks Incredible atmosphere where I watched it. Huge screen and some thousands at a big arrangement with singing and beers. Place went nuts at the goals. Beers flying everywhere.
Worst game we've played under Åge tbf. Reddit and American Twitter had a huge fascination with Peru apparently. Meanwhile Iceland is still a favourite to them.
At least happy Denmark is considered a "big" team apparently.
Just happy with the win. Just annoyed we can't stop this "deserved" shit after every game. You don't deserve anything if you can't score and your GK can't save. Those two things are the most important things, and we had both.
I wouldn't call Denmark overrated though. Maybe we can be called since we've not lost in two years (16 games) or something, and that's not our level.
Looking forward to the Australia match. Another must win really. And thankfully we can only improve. Eriksen needs to be better.

England can get honorary viking-status, as they were properly colonised.
Just need you and Sweden to not lose then

Found a vid of the crowd where we watched it. Don't why that poverty tv-station don't have sound on though.

To be fair most of the squad seem in their 20s
Peru could have won 4-1 if they had better finishing. The last 20 minutes were partcularly sketchy but they couldn't score a goal to save their lives. That said i acknowledge how Denmark manage to get this grimy win and i respect that. In counters they can be dangerous.
Overall this was an exciting and the most crucial match in group C.

Kvist's injury apparently was very serious. Two broken ribs and a punctured lung. Absolutely insane he played almost two extra minutes with that injury. Much respect to him, even though I don't particular care for him.
Incredible nothing was given on the play iirc. Violent flying knee should at least be yellow.

They need to work on the communication between the on-field and video referee. The on-field referee can keep the game going while the video referee communicates whether or not it was a foul. It's not a horrid system, just lacks fluidity right now

He had his arm out in an unnatural position... so intent goes out the window when that happens. It's a peno.
I don't understand why players today think they can extend their arms in the box like that. You have to be careful. By doing so, you're making the rules NOT work for you.

I know it’s a pen. Yussuf is an idiot. Talking about the free kick on Yussuf right before the goal.
