He stuck his leg in front of Poulsen who was already past him. We’ve had better claims this game ffs

Entertaining game, both sides could have scored more. Peru really unlucky to be behind still. On the other hand Eriksen probably should have killed the game there

Tough loss there @Perucho21. Hopefully you guys don't nail Ceuva to the cross even though it was a terrible miss. Eriksen went drinking last night obviously, worst match I have ever seen from him.

Cueva what a performance, Carillo was sprinting past players like it was nothing he was excellent, Advincula the RB was very good too, I really like this Peruvian side they deserved more from this, Denmark was abysmal

Still got the match winning assist though, ufff
Could've also easily had a goal too
But yeah he was poor overall

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group C (Australia, Denmark, France, Peru)
This one hits the heart very bad. Because perus biggest problem.has always been never being to finish and win games when we are clearly the superior team. We had thought that Gareca had gotten that horrible trait out of the team but all that came back and it just had to be at the world cup.
This is a very tough one to swallow considering all that happened. This will go down as one of our most terrible losses.

3 100% chances and We played badly. Can’t wait to see how we’re doing when playing well.
If the ref actually got off his ass to check VAR on Jørgensen getting run down that one time the win would’ve been bigger

You actually think Denmark was good? Carillo was slicing through your defence like through bread, they had a shitload of chances but reall poor finishing. 2 of your chances came close to 90 min when Peru went all out attack and left empty defence for couters. You should thank Schmeichel and Peruvian attackers for the 3 points.

Where did I state we were good?
Sliced through our defence? What did that lead to? They had no clear chances at all. Schmeichel didn't have a single game saving save, he took what he had to.
We had three chances that were must scored and only scored on one. Our best player looked lackluster and still got an assist.
Our two chances came at 90 minutes? Are you an idiot?
The first was In the start of the second, then Eriksen's 1 on 1 late, and the goal at 59th minute.
Peru had which clear chance? A back heel from Guerrero that was looked out?
They could press and drible. Not much else. Just another case of a GL hipster pick like Morocco over Iran.

Re: World Cup (2018) - Group C (Australia, Denmark, France, Peru)
It wasn't though.
We had our chance where we scored.
Jørgensen had a clear shot that was amazingly blocked by a defender.
Eriksen missed a huge 1 on 1.
Two of those were much bigger chances than Peru got.
––
One the biggest Peru chances were offside and would've been called off.
Only real dangerous chance was the late save Schmeichel had with his leg really.

I quite liked Peru. Denmark win completely undeserved, but hey that's football. Peru still has a chance to get 6 points out of this.

BC don't take your frustrations out on a team that can actually finish their chances and defend.
But agreed. Nothing screams deserving a win like not being able to trouble a goalkeeper through an entire game.

Congrats Freeza.
Hipsters on Reddit were telling me Peru was gonna walk all over their " overrated " European opposition.

Thanks Incredible atmosphere where I watched it. Huge screen and some thousands at a big arrangement with singing and beers. Place went nuts at the goals. Beers flying everywhere.
Worst game we've played under Åge tbf. Reddit and American Twitter had a huge fascination with Peru apparently. Meanwhile Iceland is still a favourite to them.
At least happy Denmark is considered a "big" team apparently.
Just happy with the win. Just annoyed we can't stop this "deserved" shit after every game. You don't deserve anything if you can't score and your GK can't save. Those two things are the most important things, and we had both.
I wouldn't call Denmark overrated though. Maybe we can be called since we've not lost in two years (16 games) or something, and that's not our level.
Looking forward to the Australia match. Another must win really. And thankfully we can only improve. Eriksen needs to be better.
