Re: Metro Exodus
One negative though, sometimes the loading screen is excessively long.
Witcher 3 long, no idea if this will be fixed but it's a thing atm.

I heard the voice acting is bad. Is it true?

Many lol.

I'm very early in but it's not something I've noticed yet, it's not any worse than it was in previous games anyway.

Murdering everything in sight atm and i have a feeling it might not end well.

The DMC5 demo seems fun. Wish you could pick between all of the characters from the get-go, though. I'm not a huge fan of Nero's disposable arm thing.

Re: Metro Exodus
The devs were clearly feeling themselves in the final two levels I've played.
Everything has been utterly phenomenal.

Atmosphere wise it's fucking unreal, play this game with headphones if you can. Story is really good so far, the world design is quite unique to me.
It's quite open but it isn't a sandbox, you are free to explore but it's mostly leading you into a very linear path and there's loads of what makes the Metro games what they are.
I wouldn't call it open world at all so anyone who does is an idiot lol, i really like the backpack introduction. You can craft things and change weapons (add silencers etc) on the fly which has saved my ass already.
From a general gunplay pov it feels better, it's still not going to feel like a run and gun but the guns feel good to shoot and enemies seem smarter (bandits will call out locations if they hear gunfire etc)
If you're going to explore though be careful, it's still very survival game from the aspect you want have much bullets and the last thing you want to do is waste bullets on a random mutant and not have any in an actual mission.
So yeah i think it's fantastic but i guess i was always going to, i guess I'm just happy that the more open levels haven't taken away from what makes the series what it is.
Now I've finished the game i can add to this.
It's an absolutely amazing Journey for someone who has played the first two games, i was genuinely gripped by the story and by the end i was more engrossed than any FPS I've ever played.
Specifically the final two levels are exceptional in every way imaginable from direction, level design, storytelling, atmosphere, tension etc etc especially the final one which might be one of the best levels I've played in a game.
I wish everyone who is a fan of single player FPS would play this game, the only way anyone wouldn't like it is if they don't like the pace as it's very slow and in some aspects it doesn't control as well as some other FPS but that aside it's a brilliant game with amazing atmosphere, storytelling, level design and genuine tension most games don't come close to replicating.
There's loads more I'd love to talk about but i really can't for obvious reasons.

Re: Metro Exodus
I'm up to Summer part of the game.
I adore the world and the atmosphere. I don't start moving before any conversations end. The story has been great so far. However, I do miss the mysticism and darkness of the previous games, like Khan and the Dark Ones. I also miss the claustrophobic setting of the metro stations but I know they can't go back there due to the nature of the story.
The enemy AI is quite bad. Thats the biggest problem of the game. Also RDR got criticised a lot for its controls, and man this game is far worse. I like the diverse settings and characters of this game. I'm playing the game with Russian audio which is great for immersion.
