Dortmund's Exodus
Fire sale on in the summer now that Klopp is gone for sure?
Obvious ones like Reus, Hummels, Gundogan are pretty dead certainties one would think.
Would love Pizzacheck at Liverpool. We're gonna be in the hunt for fullbacks this summer anyways.
How about the likes of Bender, Micky Ryan, Subotic, Auba, Sahim, Kagawa, Kuba?

Yes, now that their star manager is quitting the next logical step for Dortmund's board will be to firesale their best players.
Sounds legit.

Re: Dortmund's Exodus
Considering that they are likely to get a quality replacement in Tuchel i doubt there's going to be a huge exodus.
Reus and Hummels will probably go but i think that was likely anyway, the rest will probably stay unless they actually want rid.

Yea I think the majority of the players stay bar the ones that have been linked to move away anyway like Reus, Hummels

Re: Dortmund's Exodus
Reus extendeed his contract to much fanfare a couple of months ago while getting rid of the famous exit clause which would have giving him all options for a summer exit, so why is it probable he goes now?

Re: Dortmund's Exodus
Only Gündogan is "dead certain", because he has 1 year left in his contract - the rest will take big bids as in every window.

Re: Dortmund's Exodus
And Gündogan is only dead certain if he does NOT renew, which was actually reported as likely until about a week ago.

Dunno just feels obvious like it does with most players who renew to get rid of a clause.
Contracts don't mean much in football really and i don't think Dortmund fans will hate his guts if he did go.

Re: Dortmund's Exodus
Yeah but to renew in January after months of speculation about him being able to leave for 25m € wherever he wants in summer, only to then leave in summer?
Don't think so, think he decided to stay another year and then got assurances they won't block a huge offer move he wants later on.

Re: Dortmund's Exodus
there's of course always also the possibility that a player like Reus actually LIKES playing for Dortmund

Re: Dortmund's Exodus
gundogan to barcelona wouldn't be too far out of the question.
we'll sign him on a pre-contract in the summer he'll stay with dortmund till january to help them qualify again for champions league.
we are in search of players not tied to champions league

Re: Dortmund's Exodus
I want Aubam because we need some disgusting pace at least as a plan B
We need a Licht replacement soon especially in 4-3-1-2 where your full backs need to be able to provide legit width, I want Pizza.
Everybody else can fight over the slightly rich mans Marco Marin and the poor mans Bonucci. Plus that fat Turkish bloke

You have to feel for them. They build great teams again and again and every time they're gutted

They are getting Bartra though, their defense is secure for the next 10 years.

Re: Dortmund's Exodus
Gundocrock is not a huge loss at all.I think they can cope with Miki as well who was dogshite before Tuchel arrived anyway.
Hummels would be though.Hope they get a good CB aside from this Barca boy they've signed.

Replacing Hummels and Gündogan with Rode/Bartra is a disgrace. They have no ambition.

Re: Dortmund's Exodus
Yea it seems like they are trying to patch up the holes players are leaving with cheap bargains. They should have enough money from sales to surely get better players than Rodes/Bartra
