He scored his 12th in the PL today. I don't know about the 6 in CL, Maybe something was given as an OG, Didn't hear anything from the LFC end.

Also I realize this isn't said often enough but does anyone agree that Liverpool are kind of long ball merchants?

FFS Soton, so disappointing. They've been markedly better than Pool but their defense is such shit, 2-0 down rofl

12 in the league, Not counting the one today makes it 11 that you read.

1 in the FA cup. Correct.

6 in the CL, Which is 6 group stage games. Whoscored hasn't counted the Hoffeiheim play off game. So Firmino has played 8 in the CL with 7 goals.

You can still trust them over official games but then it'll just show the fact that you talk more than watching games imo

Did I say something wrong? Liverpool were second best in that half in general play. Not taking away that Soton has a shit defense and Liverpool were clinical, but Liverpool are pretty lucky not to go into half time conceding at least one.

Long ball merchant was mostly joking. Pool are selectively long ball merchants. Today no, against Spurs definitely.

Spurs we did because we had no intention of attacking you after leading within the first 5 minutes. Similar to the City game last year where we won 1-0. (Gini scored in the first 5 minutes then we just sat behind the entire game)

Klopp does that in big games if the other team has equal or superior attacking quality on the break. We knew Spurs would kill us if we kept coming on to them like the usual madmen we are, So we sat back.

Long balls

https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/clubs/total_long_balls?se=79

Only Chelsea, Arsenal and City have played lesser long balls then us.

Spurs pretty high up though hmm

they didn't count it because it doesn't count as an official CL game, it's CL qualification.

keep talking about Firmino being a beast though. Lukaku's the worst player I've seen as a starting striker at United in decades and he has 12 goals 5 assists, think Firmino is at 12 goals 6 assists.

so they don’t count a competitive game as a competitive game. Very Happy
