It would take a monstrous second half of the season

Miami did something similar last season, but that's the East:

The phrase “a tale of two seasons” may have never rang more true than it does for the Miami Heat this season, they started 11-30 in the first half of the season, was 30-11 in the second half of the season and finished at 41-41.

We would've been at around .500 with better coaching and injury luck I'd reckon. Some absolute horrible decisions at times. But it looks good now.

Randle finally starting.
Nance getting minimal time.
No more Ennis.
Josh Barkley playing legit minutes.
KCP getting out of jail.

Just need Lonzo to get 100% healthy and we're set.

Anything can change if trades happen tomorrow though.

Last night is a strong example of why we shouldn’t write off the Cavs as long as LeBron is around. He’s the best player by some distance in the East, which I think is very non controversial to say.

On his own, basically beat a very good team from the west that does happen to feature a strong set of players.

The impact LeBron has is just far greater than any individual player on any team
