I agree Nick, he just needs to learn how to make a decent cross and improve his passing accuracy. I’m impressed. I was ok with all of the other youth except Mayoral and Hakini, although I now agree with you, it was too many. Now the only one I disagree with is the supposed CF backup.

Before Hans comes in and says some foolishness of Isco, this is what happens when you play actual wide men (or men capable of playing wide) in a 4-4-2. Nothing hard to realise.

My feeling is actually that Kroos down he middle is always better than Casemiro, but kroos can't defend. the transition from back to attack is flawless or close. and thankfully sevilla are so shit they are not putting any pressure on our double pivot

Yeah, it was a very good performances from us. Finally played to our potential, should try to do this more often.

no because Llorente is not even close to have Kroos intelligence and passing quality. Iam not a big fan tbh

Agreed, this was a very good result in the context, and just because our recent results against Sevilla have gone in similar fashion the context was completely different today.

Same points, our poor form, and the amount of injuries/suspensions. Definitely should be happy about the result and how we played. Also shouldn't get carried away, we have a long way to go still.

Our most convincing performance since supercopa. Fabulous game, Vallejo is one hell of a defender. I can understand what he means when he says he wants to emulate Pepe. He is very aggressive and doesn't let players run at him. Finally a convincing performance from Asensio

Not even gonna remake a new thread for this match but I gotta say, Vallejo is really struggling out there. He is honestly at fault for both goals.

Kovacic shouod learn to make a forward pass every once in a while. 90% of his passes are sideways. How the hell does he expect to replace Modric? He isn't even 1/4th of the player. Ceballos is the much bigger prospect right now
