I think La Liga is already lost with Atletico securing the third spot but we should still try to win this game.

That's what I wanted to point out but I was afraid I might be misunderstood. I, too, think the league is already lost and, therefore, we shouldn't drain our players for nothing.

I want us to go for it.

Think Sevilla are unbeaten at home for over a year or something.

I'm probably going to paralyze some of you permanently after saying this, but I've always rated Ramos very highly. Not as high as Carlo obviously. But I do think he's a leader, and his presence alone gives the team even more confidence.

I personally believe Pepe to be the best CB in the world, followed by Varane. Ramos' only problem is his hotheadedness. He can go God Mode for 10 games straight and then screws everything up in the eleventh.

I wouldn't mention him in the same breath as Baresi though. But I genuinely believe he's one of the best out there and we're very lucky to have him.

Of course this is more down to the CB position going downhill in terms of standards in the last decade than him being very good.

Silva, when he finally recovered from his WC trauma, was clearly the best for me. It's not a coincidence that PSG played Barca even when he played and the defense suddenly looked like a pub team when he only played 5 mins of the last two games... he's that good when he's right.

After that, you have a group of guys who are close to the same level right now... namely Pepe, Ramos, Varane, Pique (on current form), Koscielny, Hummels, Terry and Chiellini. Only Varane has a lot of upside and can separate himself. The other guys are who they are.

personally, i don't want to see this Real Madrid without Ramos. He is the heart of the team in my opinion

im ramos fans as well, but i dont like him playing as cb. probably not creative enough to be midfielder, but somehow he done well there.

still would like to see him as rb again. dont care what u say, cant cross etc. he was 1 of the best there along with alves back then.

The commentator I'm listening to is sooo anti-Madrid. It's crazy and ridiculously funny. When we went 1-0 up and then 2-0, he was so quiet and visibly angry. When Sevilla got a penalty, he started screaming his lungs out. When they scored, he was two seconds away from passing out.
