Injury update

We all know about Sahin. Ramos has a bad back and Pepe has a bad knee. Apparently, Khedira got hurt In training and was rushed to the hospital. No details.

None of these players are expected to play against Chivas obviously.

Varane will get more action I guess. Coentrao to play CM with Alonso/Granero.

I wanna see Coentrao in RB just to confirm that he can play on that position.

Anyone who still thinks khedira isnt injury prone... smh.
been saying since his 4th injury last season that he is injury prone...
yet u delude urselfs thinking khedira is unlucky. cripes mate.
this is exactly wut i was worried wut was to happen since lass is to leave us. though this is preseason, this is a taste of wuts to come from khedira. this wont be the last injury its only the beginning. this is why i wanted lass to stay at all costs(unlikely). visit that thread where we discussed the importance of lass in our team for more info why i argued we needed a new dm.

Because Lass was left home and refused to come, other clubs think we have no choice but to sell him. Offer prices have actually dropped from what i've heard... 12 million is the high right now. We're probably going to bite the bullet on this one unless there's some kind of reconciliation.

Chronic foot problems are no joke btw. Unless you find some kind of sole + padding to resolve the issue, it's actually hard to play at your top. It gets worse with playing too.

A similar problem is plantar fasciitis, which is the inflammation of the heel. This is inflammation around a toe or toes.

Nick - Gago today was ordered by Mou to join the list of discarded (Leon, Drenthe, Lass and Canales) in Madrid (like I told you earlier). They have now been told that they will remain in Madrid while the team travels to China (from America). These guys are all up for sale. At this point re Lass, I don't think Mou cares about price, he's just sending out a very strong message that he doesn't want these guys part of his team. In particular with Lass, he's put the pressure on him to get out. Keep in mind Mou got Madrid to offer him a new contract, and he never has accepted it.
With gago, it will be difficult to get an offer for him with his new injury.

all of a sudden im unconfortable with having just Khedira as defensive player in the midfield, and that's regardless of pepe and varane.

it sounds good on paper but when your players get injured this much, it's another reality.

@bill: that's from marca right? isnt he supposed to be out for 3 weeks? it falls within the china tour i think. regardless, he was always announced leaving and all that stuff is from marca...

why do you hate khedira?

isnt half as good as lass but displaced him only due to consistency, not quality. and i never liked injury prone players to begin with. though some with exception and khedira isnt exceptional.

injury prone players are costly to have when wanting to win trophies. its not a problem if the injury prone player is used sparingly, but if he is the starter, one must always be concerned of when he gets injured again. it cud happen anywhere, anytime. and this guy gets injured in training sessions to boot, i cannot trust someone who is a liability. i hope by the next winter transfer window we seek to replace khedira or at least find cover for him.

or place trust in coentrao.

Well, at least Khedira usually doesn't take too much time to recover & his form after come back always good

that is probably the only positive i see in him. he usually doesnt get knocked out longer than 3 weeks. but he gets injured like this too frequently for comfort.

But come on, that's not the only positive thing he has, you just need to pay more attention on him to notice it

But come on, that's not the only positive thing he has, you just need to pay more attention on him to notice it

Khedira needs to step his game up. injury or not his best performance has yet to match lass's best performance. since lass is leaving, khedira needs to get better to compensate.
