Update on Varane's Injury Recovery

Its surprising how nobody is talking about our best defender last season.
he seems to be a forgotten man.
He had an injury in may which he operated on and i read some time in june that he hoped to be fit before preseason.
i have tried browsing the web but i have not seen any thing concerning his injury update.
I really hope he is able to begin preseason training with us because he is very pivotal to this new project and i would not want
pepe taking that spot from him cos as we all know, Pepe could chip in with some very deceitful performances that could make Ancelotti thinking he is the best pair for Sergio Ramos, but any Real Madrid fan that follows all our matches would know that he could make one mistake which usually turns out to be very costly and title-threatening or title-killing.

SO any news on his injury?

He was expected to be fit in one month since, and will start the pre season for sure
