While the last two Tomb Raiders may have been quality games, they're not what people used to associate with the original Tomb Raider series. It's more similar to Uncharted.

The little we've seen of Anthem looks really interesting, but I have a strong feeling it's going to be a disappointment.

oh yeah, I forgot that was out this month, gonna dl it, though I need to re-sub to PS+ since I haven't played in a few months

Was watching some footage of Monster Hunter World a few weeks ago though and still not sure i'll like it so I guess this is a good chance to see

Yeah i have no hopes for Anthem tbh, not just because of EA but because i consider Bioware to be dead.

There's just no way I'm going to purchase another game after Final Fantasy XV that's gone through development hell. Can't be bothered with that crap. You can count on EA to do what SquareEnix did, and sew together a failed project instead of scrapping it entirely. Can't really blame them. FF XV sold like newly baked bread.

they were ok at best. but they were never as good as the first few games. what made tomb raider great was going into a new level and seeing a wide open space with puzzles to solve and places to explore. now its just follow the path set and shoot your way through it.

lol, Mole. Well, you have a relatively simple, fun and funky soundtrack on one hand. It's lighthearted, easily digestible and appeals to a wide range of people with it's catchy tunes that overshadow arbitrary lyrics that are occasionally sung in broken English. On the other hand, you have a deeper soundtrack that appeals to a more narrow range of audiences, with it's multi-lingual vocals and carefully constructed, orchestral compositions, with different hand-picked vocalists from different countries. I know I would've picked the Persona soundtrack for my iphone playlist, but I think it's obvious why the Nier soundtrack has a higher appeal from an objective point of view. Don't see why you can't see that tbh
