*Cough* Juventus *Cough*
But in all seriousness, even Nesta said Juventus are getting to be dangerous. And we have beaten you last season when we had a weaker side, but that is not meant to start an argument.
I think Roma are becoming stronger and their project under Enrique is looking to be fruitful. Lazio has made improvements, as has Napoli and Inter. I do not think any side has gotten weaker, only stronger so it will be very competitive in the Serie A.
Watch out.

In no order.
CL: Barca, Madrid, MU, Chelsea, Inter
Serie A: Roma, Inter, Juve, Napoli, Lazio
In Serie A we might get another surprise this season.

Yeah? then we beat you later on
But yeah, I'm not here to start an argument either
But Juve will definitely be one of the stronger opponents for Milan next year

you certainly can't predict about serie a this year as i am finding it hard to choose 3 teams for 3 champions league places... roma and juve should be the other 2 apart from Milan... sorry to say, i think inter will fall far behind the leading teams this year... but it's a guess...anything can happen...hugely unpredictable

@Biased: the point being made is that if Juventus beat you last year coming in 7th place and they have made improvements this year, it is natural that Juventus will become a greater threat to Milan. It was not a jab at you because obviously it was 1-1 in terms of win-lose between Juventus and Milan. It was meant to say that Juventus beat you guys even though Juventus came in 7th and you in 1st, so expected a bigger threat now that Juventus have improved.

Indeed many teams have added to their respective roster but i'm afraid it'll take 2 more season for these teams to actually catch up with Milan and Inter, over the course of the season many will eventually fall out've contention , not because of lack of quality but mainly due to lack of depth and mental fortitude.
The main threat will come from Inter, however i do not worry too much about it. This coming season we will raise our game to an even higher lvl, our new core that we are busy building have already started the winning cycle.
i like what Juve have done so far in the market, but imo the core of your team has yet to be refined, however talented they may be. Im not writing Juve off, considering your history that would be silly to do such a thing, but i believe your team is not ready to mount a challenge throughout the entire season. Lazio, Roma , Napoli , Juve will all keep in touch but Inter are the only ones who can keep winning and avoid poor form for an extended period.
In CL i don't rank us as favourites more or less the horse behind the dark horse of the tournament . If we are going to make it deep we need some other team to clear the way for us. In other words we need the Barca on the other side of the KO rounds, and hope some of the lesser teams knock of a big fish on our side. We are not a cup side yet, we are not lethal or rather lack the ruthlessness when we are dominant in cup ties. The main threats to our CL success are Chelsea, Arsenal, Barca , Real and Bayern imo.

When you beat us,
at that time, we were in third place and Juve were only two points behind Milan after you won that game. We were far from the team were at the end of the season.

I agree with Kaka22pa7o ( lolz Biasedmilanfan3)
You can't use the result of just one game to conclude Juve will do allot better next season, not saying you won't but logically you can't deduce that ur season will go allot better than it did previously simply because of 1 game against us.

I really like what Roma are doing, but Genoa was great in last year's summer window and then turned out to be a mid-table team. Admittedly, the players that Roma are buying are a little better than Veloso, Eduardo, Rafinha et al.

Re: Who will be the 5 strongest challengers to Milan in the CL and Serie A?
Napoli, Juventus and Roma are the wild cards in Serie A who could go either way, however the two Milanese giants will definitely be present at the business end of the season.
If the transfer market ended right now, Inter would still be capable of winning the scudetto - and are our only serious contenders until Juventus or Roma make a few additions - and by the end of August they'll have surely brought in reinforcements.

Re: Who will be the 5 strongest challengers to Milan in the CL and Serie A?
IMO for serie A it is only inter. Napoli, Lazio, Roma, Juve, Palermo, Udinese, all of those teams fooled themselves into thinking they could cahllenge for the title last season. There was a 12 point difference between Milan and Napoli(The closest of these teams besides inter.) The rest have made improvements, but not enough to seriously challenge us and inter.
As for CL, IMO we're still not favorites and won't be for at least 1-2 seasons. Our competitors: Barca, Man U, Real, Chelsea, Man City

Pre season doesn't mean anything. And I reckon you guys aree aming a big mistake counting Bayern out of the equation. They already had a great squad, the only thing setting them back was their defence. Now they have the best goalkeeper in the world Neuer, Boateng, Rafinha, and will also possibly buy Alex. And they already have the best wing duo in the world; Robben (who in my opinion is the best player in the world after Messi and Ronaldo) and Ribery, after Xavi the best CM in the world Schweinstniger, one of the best fullbacks in the world Lahm and the man who scored 35+ goals last season Mario Gomez. They have one hell of a team and are serious contenders for the Champions Leaue.
