Salah will be gone in 12-18 months too, first top club that comes knocking at the door asking for him. They're basically a feeder club at this point, sign players, develop them, lose them.
Harsh reality but one you need to accept if you're a Loserpool fan.
At least we develop our players, you sign them and watch them belly flop and breath a sigh of relief when some desperate club finally takes them off your hands x)
Do you think Shaw is going to join Depay at Lyon, Januzaj at Real Sociedad or Zaha at Crystal Palace?
Not sure. I think he would make a good replacement for the jobbers you start in defense, but he would probably rather sit on our bench and win trophies than play for you and win nothing.

We sell Coutinho's and Suarez's.
You talk about Fellaini's and Carrick's.
We target the elite, world class players season after season. It's documented.
you tap-up Southampton players and sign the Henderson's of the world for your starting 11 with the money you get from selling your half decent players season after season.

Can is another example
He's not going to start for you and you'll be outrun if you play him in a 2 man midfield. His vision is horrible and he likes safer passes rather taking any risks. PROS: He runs a lot and tackles well and scores 4 goals a season. That's about it, He's going to be bench player for you all his life.
You are forgetting the J-Academy. He'll come and do the trademark 6 month ostracizing. After being broken, he'll be reborn as a tactically adept complete midfielder that will make Zidane look like Calhanoglu. Eventually working through the ranks of the J-Ladder, passing even Sturaro, to become a relevant player for us. Ballack 2.0 imo.

Lukaku isn't elite? of course he is. I don't personally rate him, but his numbers over his career back up that he is.
We've signed players among the world's best every season.
When was the last time Loserpool signed one established elite player? not even in my lifetime.

Re: 2017/18 Winter Transfer Rumors
Why was Barca in such a rush btw lol.
He's cup tied isn't he? besides with how desperate they are you'd think Coutinho is the only midfielder on the planet who can drop his shoulder and dribble a bit.
Starting to think Nishank is secretly on the Barca board, only explanation imo.

Re: 2017/18 Winter Transfer Rumors
I have no idea either. Maybe thought PSG would be sniffing around in the summer and try to sign him at Nerman's behest? even though they already have like 20 players in contention for those spots. I haven't heard of any other team linked with him but there must have been a reason for the urgency.

Because, contrary to Farte's claim earlier, not only do we sign world class players, we also develop them. Brings a tear to my eye seeing Messi Lingard blossom into a superstar tbh

Liverpool want Thomas Lemar. He’s the priority.

Liverpool will be title challengers next season lol. Being fully serious here too. Bayern-Dortmund all over again in the PL next season with Pep and Klopp.

I think much hinges on a good defensive, or deep lying, midfielder for Liverpool.
Klopp won't be able to mount a title challenge with Henderson and no one else. They should get Neves but Championship players are too expensive nowadays.

Yea but Keita is an instant improvement on all their midfielders. Lemar is a better player than coutinho too. VDW an improvement on their last 20 CBs.

I think its a great response from Liverpool, clearly they didn't have a chance in keeping Coutinho and of course they're going to reinvest that money and try to get better

Another important task in summer will be to keep Salah. Hope Real Madrid indeed sign Hazard and then think they've strengthened enough on the wings

I hope the Real Madrid board knows signing a sideways-dribbling player with no end product won't strengthen their wings.
