£142m for Coutinho
He's not even that good ffs, worse than 75m for Van Dijk imo.

I find the two very difficult to compare
Ignoring the cost, I imagine he'll do quite well at Barca
Almost unfathomable to think that this is the same Coutinho from Inter all those years ago

good player at his best and may tear up that league but christ, you would think they're signing one of the world's best players
Pogba looking more and more like a bargain signing

180m for Coutinho
Baca love overpaying.
also wtf is up with Coutinho leaving Liverpool in January and Barca breaking the bank on a cup tied player when they already wrapped the league?

tbh I was just about to say why did Liverpool bother to turn down all bids in the summer if they were just going to let him leave now.rincon wrote:180m for Coutinho

We need BREXIT ASAP
Ever heard of an Englishman leaving the country for a move abroad, This is downright disgraceful and unacceptable.
emailing Theresa to allow a commonwealth vote on Brexit. Will vote FOR

this season has illustrated you don't need him with the emergence of Salah

Price could be even higher in the summer due to World Cup hype

Probably to get even more money and to secure signings like Virgil first and maybe Salah's form makes it a bit easier to sacrifice an attacker. It always seemed an inevitable move

you really are clueless about football, get a grip lad
genuinely thinking Milner is even in the same stratosphere as Pogbito
a player that delivered the club a treble in his first season back
Milner's never had a dominant performance in his life, keep telling me about how he scores the odd penalty though

Really wished we'd kept him till the end of the season, but oh well.
Besides Lallana is better anyway.

Re: 2017/18 Winter Transfer Rumors
Coutinho was always going to leave though. Loserpool have shown time and time again they are incapable of keeping hold of any player that gets to a high level.
Salah will be gone in 12-18 months too, first top club that comes knocking at the door asking for him. They're basically a feeder club at this point, sign players, develop them, lose them.
Harsh reality but one you need to accept if you're a Loserpool fan.

when the big Spanish teams come calling its hard to keep your best players. its a bit like Ronaldo and beckham running off to spainFirenze wrote:Coutinho was always going to leave though. It's any club with you guys, granted the sample size is small since it's rare you develop an elite player, but it'll always be the case. You're simply not a big enough club to keep hold of these guys who have ambition to win trophies. It's a terrible cycle since any time you get a top player on your hands they're on the cover of magazines asking to leave within 12 months. Not sure how you can get over it tbh.

We sell Coutinho's and Suarez's.
You talk about Fellaini's and Carrick's.

He's not going to start for you and you'll be outrun if you play him in a 2 man midfield. His vision is horrible and he likes safer passes rather taking any risks. PROS: He runs a lot and tackles well and scores 4 goals a season. That's about it, He's going to be bench player for you all his life.

At least we develop our players, you sign them and watch them belly flop and breath a sigh of relief when some desperate club finally takes them off your hands x)
Do you think Shaw is going to join Depay at Lyon, Januzaj at Real Sociedad or Zaha at Crystal Palace?

Re: 2017/18 Winter Transfer Rumors
Suarez was begging to join Arsenal too.
We target the elite, world class players season after season. It's documented.
you tap-up Southampton players and sign the Henderson's of the world for your starting 11 with the money you get from selling your half decent players season after season.

Not sure. I think he would make a good replacement for the jobbers you start in defense, but he would probably rather sit on our bench and win trophies than play for you and win nothing.
