Re: The Bundesliga Thread 17/18
I DO want technology to support the refs but this implementation of VAR is terrible AND USELESS.

If anyone was questioning JLow about not picking any BVB players, question answered.

Why there was literally no time wasted and other people with better equipment made the decision. I think its good.
HT Bayern 5-0 Dortmund.

Because it ignores the people in the stadium who have NO IDEA what is happening even though it would be incredibly easy by simply putting the replays that are reviewed on the screen.

That's what they do in Cricket, So the system is good they just need to integrate it with the screen.
The NT friendlies had referees jogging over 50 yards to check a screen in the heat of the moment, That's a decision they are not supposed to make.

I want VAR to review that Ribery-Weigel incident and issue a red card and lifetime ban for Ribery.

That's why the implementation is bad but I still want it.
And that's what all of us want.elfmeter wrote:I want VAR to review that Ribery-Weigel incident and issue a red card and lifetime ban for Ribery.

This has gotta be the biggest result in recent years in the league? How much Dortmund has fallen and Bayern under Heynckes the opposite... Wow.

Weigl had a tiny speck of some dirt on his face and Ribery used Weigls shirt to wipe it off. He's a motherly figure to younger players

Possibly. But if he is, it will be either Pep's City or he will follow to wherever Tuchel goes. Chelsea.
But it's too early to tell, BVB will have a new coach soon who might work well for Weigl, as clearly the best solution for the kid would be to regain his form at BVB.
Has a long term contract too so BVB shouldn't be inclined to sell.
If you ask me, I think it will be a nonstory this summer.

That goal should have been called off. Laughable stuff.
Beating the absolute nonsense of a legit title rival is also laughable. And excellent. But also laughable. 6-0, damn.

Based upon what I have seen of the Sevilla vs barca game, Bayern are going out of the Champions league 8-0 on agg

I know I am posting in the wrong thread... but turned on the MLS, LA Derby and Zlatan is having one of those "I am gonna be bigger than Arnold" LA introductions. Apparently they were losing 3-0.

And he just came on in the 71 min to score those two goals.

There is something so unholy about Werder playing on this holiest of days. Will find out if Jebus is a Bremen fan I guess? A win, even a point, will be enough for my highly complex, mathematical relegation equation machine to predict safety for this season.

How is Eintracht up in the European spots? Werder looks quite comfortable and deserving of the 1-0 lead.

Hradecky or whatever the spelling is, will be blaming sun in his eyes for that one. Eintracht much better in the 2nd half, but gifting Werder a goal
2-1 Werder to hang on for 10 mins
2-1 Werder to hang on for 10 mins

I just noticed that Bayern has already won the league.
Are they fielding the youth team players in the remaining games.
