I hate to be the one to have to tell you @Robes, but there was some maintenance work done on the GL club icons today and something went wrong and as a result for some reason all of our 'club supported' icons switched to the next one in line.

Mine switched to Chelsea and yours too... Juventus

Szczesny will play 15+ games. Buffon was responsible for Atalanta's first, just as Berisha was responsible for Juve's first, cancels each other out

We probably should've won today, Dybala with a horrendous penalty attempt, we just didn't create enough

We should have won it with the penalty.

Sandro and Pjanic were really needed. I didn't see much of a point of subbing in Cuadrado there. Might as well have been Costa and Sandro coming in for what we needed.

What do you mean, 'cancels each other out' Laughing

If Buffon doesn't make the mistake, you win, how is it a plus if the other keeper's bad too? rofl rofl

I'll try to simplify it

If Atalanta's keeper doesn't make the mistake on the first goal, then its 1-0 via Higuain

Then Atalanta would have tied it 1-1 via Cristante, if we also pretend Buffon's mistake didn't happen

So, like, if the first goal didn't happen for Juve or Atalanta, like if they cancelled each other out, that's what the game would look like

Is this clearer? hmm

Roma and Inter, summon your strength and stop Napoli form running away with the title. Serie A needs it.

Yeah well now I wonder how I can make myself clearer Laughing

Why is it an argument against benching Buffon that Atalanta's keeper made a mistake, too?

The argument against benching Buffon is that people jump on small mistakes about twice a season and bash just for the sake of it. The rest of the season he saves us points.

The problem in our defense right now isn't solved by benching one of our big guarantees and the leader of the backline. The problems are mainly Benatia playing and lack of cover from midfield because everyone is injured.

Your argument is based on Buffon making a mistake costing Juve the game, I don't think he cost us the game with his error

It's like saying Dybala should be benched for missing the penalty on 2-2, its a thought but one that won't materialize

I'm just thinking on a broader scale for this match particularly where both keepers made an identical mistake basically
