Actually, the stadium and the commercial activities at the stadium earned Juventus about 65.7 M Euro this past season. Combined with what they would have paid in stadium rent, it is an 75-80M swing. Quite a benefit.

So what's your prediction (expectations) for the season?

1. What would be the top 4/6 look like?
2. Which three would get relegated?
3. Which team would be the surprise package (dark-horse)
4. Which team would be disappointment?

Due to my limited (extending to almost zero) knowledge about Italian League, I have no clue about the last three. All I can assume that come May the table may look like:

JJ
Napoli (they have a fairly unchanged squad, right?)
Roma
Milan

1. Heart says Juve, head says Napoli. Inter 3rd, Roma 4th. Surely you are jinxing.

2. Crotone, Benevento, Spal

3. Maybe Torino can reach the Europe spots ? But their way to success will be very fragile, they need everyone at their best level and no injuries. And of course not sell Belotti. Haven't they lost some players in window???

4. If we don't win the league, Juve. As well as Rincon, i don't expect much from Fio this year. Double digits imo.

I was checking the opening matches, some of them (bolded the "bigger" teams):

Juve - Cagliari
Verona - Napoli
Atalanta - Roma
Crotone - Milan
Lazio - SPAL
Inter - Fiore
Bologna - Torino

Good start. I don't see any upsets except possibly Atalanta and Bologna. Milan, Napoli and Lazio get a free pass. Fiore is decimated and Inter had the best preseason of the big teams, so they should win there.

Atalanta has BY FAR the toughest schedule of the top 6.

I think we'll (Juve) have a slow start with a lot of things to figure out. Its great that we have the supercup this week to start to see what's up. Then our start is good.

Benassi was a Torino player when i wrote this post. It's a big loss for them but he wasn't the pillar of their midfield. Baselli is better in my opinion.

On the bench they have a promising player in Sasa Lukic, 20, former starter at Partizan Belgrade. Time for him to step up.

About Juve, i expect 15 points out of 15 for the first month of the season. Dropping one match is barely acceptable, those five opponents are all decent at best. Allegri better not use "tactical problems" as an excuse, he kicked out Bonucci himself so he had more than 2 months to think of a plan B.
