Re: BREAKING: 'We are working on Bonucci's sale'
I just realized that the upcoming season on GL is going to mirror last..just like WWE we're rehashing storylines ffs. Need either ES or M99 to be the cocky heel this season after signing Juve's best player and a bunch of other good signings. Looking forward to Milan winning the treble this season. what a time to be alive.

Re: BREAKING: 'We are working on Bonucci's sale'
doubt it
he's probably done even more after this
need Rincon to step up and assume S's role IMO
I will be following Serie A closely this season, really interested to see how Juve reinvest

Re: BREAKING: 'We are working on Bonucci's sale'
only right to close this fine day with a picture of most exquisite taste. I'll probably be celebrating this day each summer onwards in memory of such an excellent event as this one and be sure to remind everybody forever after what we celebrate in the 15th of July , a day that was full of banter , excitement and Bonucci

Re: BREAKING: 'We are working on Bonucci's sale'
footballitalia wrote:A debunked story suggested Leonardo Bonucci and Dani Alves had a locker room brawl during the Champions League Final, allegedly confirmed by Mario Mandzukic.
There were already reports of a row at half-time in Cardiff between Bonucci and Paulo Dybala, denied by everyone involved, but a new version emerged today.
It allegedly occurred before the 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid and involved Dani Alves instead of Dybala.
It has even been traced back to Storie Romantiche, a Facebook page dedicated to churning out fake news stories about football, but had gained traction online in Italy.
“I want to intervene to silence the rumours of an ugly atmosphere inside the Juve locker room,” Mandzukic was quoted on spaziomilan.it.
“It was simply Bonucci and Dani Alves to have created this chaos and, fortunately, with their sales everything will become calm again.
“They were the ones who had a row during the Final and it’s simply because they have diametrically opposed personalities. Leo and Dani would argue all the time and, on the day of the Final, we simply watched another of their many dramas.
“As soon as we got into the locker room, everyone had treated this like a normal game with just three points up for grabs, or at least that’s how it seemed. So we expected Dani Alves to do his usual routine of putting on the Radio Party Groove music in the locker room while we were getting changed.
“This time, though, he didn’t stop there. He went over the top, playing Samba Do Janeiro at full volume as if he wanted to break our eardrums and then started dancing like there was no tomorrow.
“I thought he was being stupid, but ignored him and went to my locker. Leo didn’t, as for him the Champions League was an obsession.
“He went up to Dani and said he’d break his legs in three seconds if he didn’t turn off that music. Obviously, a row erupted and it just kept going, until Dani Alves said that if he lost the Final, he’d still have three Champions League trophies in his locker, whereas Bonucci had none.
“At that point, everyone turned around scandalised. I’ve won the Champions League, but I’d never dare say something like that. We shouldn’t even have thought about the eventuality of defeat.
“Then Leo grabbed Dani by the throat and, as he was about to punch him, Max (Allegri) divided them and took a decision of a real leader: he said he didn’t care who started it, but at the end of the game they’d both get kicked out.
“It was the wisest decision ever made. Now, the group is calm and united again, without the annoying bragging of Leo and the usual Brazilian pain in the neck of Dani Alves, who would never let us just get changed and focus.”
This would explain why Bonucci was sold to Milan for just €42m and Dani Alves even had his contract terminated early by mutual consent.
It also makes clear why the only Juve player to publicly salute Bonucci was Gigi Buffon, while Dani Alves was also largely ignored after his move to PSG.

What do you mean 'probably'
It even says in the quote that it's from a site specializing in fake news
Not sure why Nick quoted it in length anyway, but I guess he needs to keep his mind from the fact Mbappe is not happening and Morata is still there

Re: BREAKING: 'We are working on Bonucci's sale'
What a signing this is. Might even be the signing of the season in my eyes.
Only logical for him to be the captain at this point. A little weird given his history, but he'll be leading a team of absolute youngsters. Biglia may have been another option, given he skippered Lazio, but he doesn't have the same profile.
I feel like Montolivo should probably be club captain at this point, given his years of service to Milan, with Bonucci the vice-captain (on-field captain), a la Totti and DDR. Then again, Montolivo also will be lucky to play double-digit times this season as well with the names in Milan's midfield so logic should win out here.

All those stories about HT fights and squabbles were probably just made up to soften the blow that Madrid were simply the superior team.

Bonucci would’ve been Juve captain
http://www.football-italia.net/108009/%E2%80%98bonucci-would%E2%80%99ve-been-juve-captain%E2%80%99
Damn right he made a choice , if not earning a transfer to a more prestigious club doesn't convey what Juve is all about to the younger lads i don't know what is , he already fullfiled his Juventus captain potential right there . He made the right choice by becoming rich & succesfull Milan captain
Imagine they actually sold us their future captain for 28m and a De Sciglio ?

Or maybe he was not meant to be our next captain and that's why MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI kicked him out ?

That's a hard sell when Chiellini, Barzagli and Marchisio had the armband after Burton.

Re: BREAKING: 'We are working on Bonucci's sale'
You know Buffon and Barzagli will be both gone in 2 years time right , with Chiellini being too old to name him main captain , aka Bonucci future captain in 2 years time? As for Marchisio , surely he would be vice captain with all his injuries and stuff? I like Marchisio , always have , but he can't stay healthy that much nowadays it seems. Who knows in two years.
besides your coach's words not mine lol , you know better than him ?
anyway i will be forever glad for this gift , thanks guys

Re: BREAKING: 'We are working on Bonucci's sale'
Buffon was named main captain at 34. It would have been Chiellini and Marchisio after Barzagli leaves. Anyway it doesn't matter. Now he is a Milan player.

Re: BREAKING: 'We are working on Bonucci's sale'
Do i know better than him ? I don't think so
But it's easy to read between the lines, not from this particular interview, but from the situation as a whole. Bonucci sold to Milan for 28 + Scrublio, while we create drama for Pogba, Sandro and ask for crazy sums. Makes no sense at all.
Or Allegri who was given the keys to the team, asked him to leave and we had to accept the biggest italian offer. Then you can understand Allegri saying stuff like that to cover himself, since it might turn out to be a major wrong decision. He ain't lying but he's not saying the truth. IMHO
You can invite Michael Jordan and Yao Ming and laugh together all you want, it's allowed. What a painful loss, dagger to my heart. To decent at best Milan on top of that

So Juve sold ' his future captain ' (Bonucci) to Milan and at the same time Milan sold ' his future captain ' (De Sciglio ) to Juve

Re: BREAKING: 'We are working on Bonucci's sale'
Of course he would've been captain. On the surface he embodied all things Juventus but underneath, he quite clearly had different ideas.
We've never really had to worry about this though. Our last captain was Del Piero and our current one is Buffon. There are several suitable players for the future in the squad. And this title is strictly symbolic.

It seems unreal to say it, but atm it seems how if his selling has weakened both Juve and Milan .
Best Napoli signing atm.

Leonardo on the Bonucci-Juventus negotiation: "The situation arose from a desire for bonucci. If there is a chance to do it we will do it but we have to see if it is possible."
This has aged well
But honestly, he has no shame

Re: BREAKING: 'We are working on Bonucci's sale'
though tbh he always struck me as a passionate, heated person and probably after his relationship with Allegri he felt there was no other alternative at the time
a year in that Milan side probably humbled him
