After the draw was delayed by an hour and a half, they released a pre-recorded video. This farce of a sponsorship reaches new lows.

I guess they are just trying to gradually kill this cup.Jay29 wrote:After the draw was delayed by an hour and a half, they released a pre-recorded video. This farce of a sponsorship reaches new lows.

Wtf? So it means the draw already took place beforehand and recorded on video?

Re: 2017/18 English Football League Carabao Cup and FA Cup thread
They were meant to live stream it on Twitter at 16:00 BST. "Minor technical errors" delayed it until 17:00. 18:00 comes about and still no stream, so they just recorded it and sent it out as a video instead.
In previous rounds, they've had a draw at 4am, drawn the same team twice, and gotten home/away allocations wrong.

I would be entirely in favor of killing this cup, 2 national cups is far too many imo

I rather they turn it into a semi-youth cup (which it kinda is) and have a rule of '6 U21 players' per team.

Sure, that could work too, but giving it equal footing to the FA cup is a bit much IMORealGunner wrote:I rather they turn it into a semi-youth cup (which it kinda is) and have a rule of '6 U21 players' per team.

LMAO is this now the third time the draw didn't work out? 1st round and 2nd round draws also went wrong.
How hard can it be?

I watch this competition for the scruffy Welbeck goals and Walcott attempting to cross.
Hope to see some good Tweets from the Bristol City account tomorrow night.

Arsenal, City through
We are going to have an all-star SF once MU and Chelsea get there.
League Cup is back with vengeance
Give the winner a CL spot.

I never again want to hear fans of PL clubs complain about how many games they have to play ever again.
