TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
http://gianlucadimarzio.com/en/milan-donnarummas-future-may-be-at-real-madrid
Di Marzio reporting it.
Very happy with this deal. Very solid GK for free. You couldn't be more satisfied with this deal. young, talented, ambitious, and marketable.

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
When I heard he wasn't renewing I instantly thought there had been a deal worked out with RM. The timing was the key part. Perez losing interest in 70m DDG, oh look a shiny new young goal keeper let's see if he is available.
I'm unsure. This season Keylor was fairly unreliable at the start, but was there when it counted and showed his true abilities.
Navas always felt like a stop gap to our next young keeper, I just didn't think it would be this young. Donnarumma looks promising but if I am honest I just haven't seen enough of him.

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
I like him alot Deez, I don't watch Serie A much but for free? can't believe how good this is. future legend possibly
I just hope Milan don't bench him now for being ungrateful. Hopefully they have a champion mentality and priorities the league first

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
I would advise against making premature conclusions for a couple reasons:
1. So you don't end up looking like a fool when he signs for someone else.
2. So you avoid coming across as disrespectful to A.C. Milan and its fans for talking about a player that still belongs to them.

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
this isn't politics bruh, no need to have any respect for milan i love this forum for its banter, so get at me if I'm wrong.
and I'm certain he is ours, just not sure if he is coming this season or next. DDG is a no go and this kid is a 18 year old prodigy

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
I would rather rename the title of the thread to just "Gianluigi Donnarumma". As now we're strongly linked with him.
Buffon likes him a lot. peeps in italy think he is Buffon's successor. That's high praise.
I haven't watched Serie A with exception of some Juventus matches so im not familiar with Donnarumma.
If he actually lives up to the billing, I can see why Madrid cool off of De Gea.
Man bill is gonna be very disappointed De Gea really is not coming. I'd be disappointed too.
I dont really like De Gea but we do need more spanish internationals...
edit: Funny shit, just really something funny.
should donnarumma come to us, Florentino finally gets that italian keeper he always wanted lol. i recall he wanted buffon at one point. well he got the next best thing.

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
You can have all the banter you want, but since you're a Real Madrid fan, it's your duty, obligation and responsibility to be respectful of everybody, especially a powerhouse in European football like A.C. Milan.
The news of him not renewing broke out earlier today, so naturally, many Milan fans are devastated and angry. The best thing to do here is to be considerate and refrain from creating provocative topics and baseless assumptions.
Please understand that I'm not scolding you here. I'm merely reminding you that you're part of the Real Madrid community and your behavior, good or bad, affects our reputation as a whole.
Remember that the next time you think about calling a football legend like Buffon a "CL loser".

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
Oh please, Madrid fans in Sweden are hardly a humble bunch, neither are Madrid fans in general. The behaviour towards our players (the booing) is far more shameful than my GL REPUTATION.
I still want to add salt to the Juve wounds because they were so confident they were going to beat us. I'm gonna stop since people are taking it personal here (madrid fans mostly) but I won't think twice in real life

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
He is highly regarded for what he could be which means he isn't right now.
The kid is average and young.
I want my GK to be a real man with experience and there are such keepers on the market with with a lot more abilities and experience right now.

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
There's no way this kid is going to come here and replace Navas today though. I don't believe that. Casilla is the one who'd be affected.
If we do get him we might loan him Courtois style or who knows.

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
LMao Oblak or courtois are 15x times the gk donnarumma is. I don't see clubs rushing to sign him.
Mbappe? All of Europe is lining up

you can't compare GKs and attackers like that. Neuer was hardly our interest when Fergie singed out praise for him, but he was better than Casillas already at that point (i know ppl gonna give me flak for saying Neuer is better than Casillas but imo he is) none was interested except Bayern and Man U
GKs dont gather that kind of interest, just PSG sending him a blank cheque says enough

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
Here's an interesting analysis on Donnarumma in Spanish.
http://www.ecosdelbalon.com/2016/11/analisis-gianluigi-donnarumma-portero-elegido-futuro-talento-italia-milan/#idc-cover
According to it: Donnarumma is a gifted prodigy. He plays in a team context in which the net he is defending is not easy to get to, and this has an effect on how he responds as a keeper.
He is an aggressive keeper with very good physical, tactical, and technical qualities, and is always connected to what's happening in the game. He is good in winning divided balls 1 v 1 and is also good at coming out for the ball and winning it.
His most noteworthy flaws atm are that he is better defending his left side than his right side and his passing game is not very good/developed. At 18 y/o his biggest objective is to make sure that everything that happens to his right side is as good as what happens in his dominant left. His margin of improvement is very evident, but it is also evident he is already a good keeper. There's alot more in the article.

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
The other thing to keep in mind- correct me if I'm wrong, as I heard this from an Italian pundit- his agent is Riola, who apart from Mendez is one of the biggest anglers in football. Saying that he isn't going to renew is likely part of a bigger plan. If Riola spoke with us or Juve they are likely just laying ground work. Let's be real- we're not going to sign Donnarumma for free.
I don't think anyone will sign him for free, he will probably renew with some sort of clause that will allow him to go if the big dogs come for him, and he won't be cheap.
He definitely won't go this season, let's see what happens. Everything I've heard points to him being the next big thing in his position, but I haven't personally seen enough to make that call. Next season? Maybe

I'll never understand Nick's obsession with Oblak. Courtois makes sense but Oblak ain't no better than Navas who he rarely says much about.

Milan's owners have decided that they will turn down any offer for Donnarumma, allowing his contract to run out. Milan are interested in Neto, Perin and Leno.
SMH Milan are *bleep*

Re: TRANSFER TALK: Donnarumma
I don't get the overration for Courtois, he's overrated.
I haven't seen donnarumma much so I really can't have an opinion on him. but there sure is a lot of talk of him being Buffon's successor...
