Has no place in the game imo.
Completely agree. Disgraceful rules.

I think it has something to do with having writing underneath. Like a political statement or something, otherwise it make no sense

That's another part to the rule, you are not allowed to do that either.
I hate that too though tbh, although it's more acceptable than celebrating with the fans or just taking your shirt off.

in my opinion England is very decent and sophisticated country, out of all countries, they need such rules the most ![:coffee:](/users/3313/22/97/24/smiles/2859867778.gif)

Yeah no.....
Barca and Bayern weren't unbalanced, you can make arguments against them in some ways but balance is not one of them.
Watching this game though u didnt think they were lacking physically to compete? For crosses obviously when they attack, and in the middle of the park. Bournamouth players largely won those areas and prevented City creating. I just dont know the point of seeing high crosses into the box from FBs when u got only Jesus, Aguero, Silva, Sterling in there competing for them.
So Sterling will be suspended how many matches? Will miss him since hes been the biggest cutting edge lately, and that says a lot

Bilic's days are numbered, couple more losses in their next 3-5 games and he's done

Well obviously ![Laughing](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_lol.gif)
I could tell in the first two games that West Ham were trash.
He and De Boer are close to the sack imo.

IDK what's going on there, not watching the game today. They have some decent players and just seem to throw money around to fix issues, been trash for a while now. Bilic probably has to take the blame at this point.

I expect the media to pick up on Merino pretty soon btw, he's fantastic.
No idea why Dortmund was playing him as a CB.

Our DM just did a 360 roulette spin and put a striker in with an outside of the right foot through ball ![Laughing](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_lol.gif)

Because they have Weigl and the requirements for a midfielder are higher at BVB than at Newcastle.
No offense.

3-0 Rafa is getting into gears with this team still a long way to go .
And suddenly ManUtd's 4-0 against WestHam doesnt look so impressive, lol !

I can see that tbf, my problem isn't the fact they didn't deem him good enough.
The fact they tried him in a position he wasn't used in Spain to begin with, obviously the standards are a lot higher i take no issue with that.

No idea, I was just trying to piss on your shoes for no reason tbf
As far as I remember, he basically didn't make it into the midfield past Weigl (Sahin is also there after all), and also of course Tuchel is a Pepist hipster who like his single DM to be a pivot and who likes to play tall Basque DMs as CBs because of his possession and high line game.
No idea how he played back at Pamplona or where he was.
Also, the biggest reason for his CB starts of course was that he was used as a make shift solution to their usual defensive injury state of emergency

Re: Premier League 17-18 Discussion
he was always a DM, i mainly saw him with spain but he looked good in a double pivot, smooth and elegant.
Tuchel is not pep all mighty, he clearly screwed up and misused a talented player. Or he chose not to use him, as it's so often the case when the club signs a player the coach never requested, playing him out of position even to make him look bad. a bit cynical, but we have seen this before.

Yep the friction or outright hostility between Tuchel and BVB's scouting and transfer department is well documented.
Merino might be one of the main victims of that, since I think Tuchel was pissed they didn't sign Torres that window

On the other hand, if the BVB board believed in Merino and only Tuchel didn't rate him, they wouldn't have sold him now that they got rid of Tuchel
