I think he's a good player, who goes forward very well and has exceptional dribbling. But I do not think that he is fantastic, as a 20M pricetag would suggest.

He is very going forward, he has always been. He just improved in defending recently. He actually started really improving the end of the 09-10 season, and it showed him vs barca (2-0).

people can rate him however they want, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but i dont see any numbers in here.

for me he literally is priceless and i wouldnt take any other lb out there over him not abidal, not cole, not lahm. no one because marcelo has been special for us and is improving by the day. mou loves him and so do all madridistas for the most part, because he is a pure madridista as well.

thankfully brazil has been good to us when it comes to giving us emblematic left backs.

and we also have coentrao now incase he ever gets injured or opts for the rb position... ya u heard me.
