I'm already disappointed after reading some stuff related to Polanski that I found out during all this (not the crime, I knew that, but didn't know a lot of well respected people signed a petition in Polanski's favor, pretty disgusting)

Yeah I've followed it. Some of it is taken a bit out of context. But it doesn't look good.

The one video with a French-Canadian reporter was taken out of context and she herself has said they were doing it for laughs.

The Hillarie Burton thing is probably true. But I find it weird how they use that clip as evidence, when it shows nothing at all.

Affleck has had a lot of personal growth while also dealing with alcohol trouble, so I think there's some truth to it. I've seen myself what Alcohol can do to people.

As someone who know people who've been sexually assaulted I just think the discourse should be careful now. Don't try to start a small thing that backfires and hurts the cause because you wan't publicity. The line between harrassment, assault and rape is getting blurred each day. It's getting dangerous. When you compare getting grapped on the tit with rape it can hurt real horrible abuse. I know i've felt bad about being grapped before, and I don't really know anyone who hasn't received some sort of sexual harrassment.

As for being Batman, I think he was done after JL either way. He has too many personal issues to be in spotlight blockbusters.

I think Matt Reeves would want a younger Batman as it offers more creativity in his trilogy.

Thought everyone was talking about Tyreese from TWD until I googled to double check.

I hate every single one of these Weinstein shocked posts tbh. Everyone knew. I even f'ing knew. It wasn't an open secret. It was openly known.

I find it weird how something that's come up so many times suddenly gets this much traction. He's settled these cases for years. But that's a good thing. People are finally held accountable.

They did. No one listened. No one wanted to represent them. Lawyers wouldn't represent multiple women because they had been topless on camera or photoshoots.

Also. Hard to come out when you're being blackmailed with your livelihood. No one is at fault for anything here except Weinstein.
