Agreed with Freeza on Whiplash and DPS
Whiplash isn't a musical, please watch, it will blow your mind

Whiplash is a bit like Black Swan. It's a psychological film more than anything else.
Holy shit RG, rest back and enjoy Kill Bill. *bleep* the man of the nothing, man on fire, the raid movies and all that. Kill Bill Vol. 1 is the all-time best all out action movie.

I'll text him.
Can't wait for Galveston to come out next year. Melanie Laurent is directing it. She's one of my favourite actresses, so can't wait to see what she does with Ben Foster in a lead. Really liked the book.
Nic Pizzolatto on the screenplay. The cinematographer also a female. I've it blows up, it might get into the Oscar run.

Nic Pizza also wrote the novel. Some years before True Detective.
It's about a hitman getting cancer and using his last time to protect a young woman.

99? I'd maximum give it a 90 tbh. But the pace is probably at a 99, goes by really fast.

War for the Planet of the Apes is legit.
Wonderful movie, given that so much of it is CGI. Woody Harrelson didn't disappoint, that's for sure.
Everytime Caesar spoke, Edward James Olmos kept coming to mind instead of Andy Serkis though.

Re: The Movie House - Part 10
My friends are huge Planet Of The Apes fans, so I binged the first two with them today because we are going to see War some time next week.
Rise was okay, saw the first half on TV a while back so I was a bit bored. James Franco was great, so was Serkis as Caesar.
Dawn was really really good. The storyline, complexity of all the characters and emotional depth were all so good. Koba was one of the best movie villains I've seen.
I did not watch any of the trailers for War, I'm assuming the plot will be about the war between the apes and the military base that the humans contacted.

I agree with his ability. Thought he looked like himself in that. True Romance is still his best chameleon performance. Try listening to that scene without watching... it's ridiculous

Those Dunkirk reviews are insane. Can't wait to watch. Sounds like another experience like Gravity, which I've waited for, for such a long time.

Going IMAX for Dunkirk on saturday. People calling it Nolan's best. Probably due to being a war film. Doubt it's better than TDK.
Can't wait though. Hyped af.
