Re: Call of Duty: WWII
Haven’t played CoD since our last match together in mw:R. Played the game for an hour or so last night and the rustiness wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. I recommend getting Titanfall 2 for cheap by the way. The multiplayer is tons of fun and the single player is great too. It’s a super underrated game that I personally enjoyed more than any of the post Ghost call of duties. Picked it up from PS store for about 100kr Totally worth it!

Are the Titanfall servers still active? I won't get it yet as I'm enjoying Battlefront 2 atm but it's something to consider down the line as I know there's no other shooter out there that's actually good.

Re: Call of Duty: WWII
They’re active, but the time it took to find a game ranged between a few seconds and 1-2 minutes. It’s worth mentioning that i played the game past midnight, which isn’t exactly prime time. The game is worth getting, even if you don’t like the multiplayer for whatever reason. I’m pretty sure you will, though. Like I mentioned before, I paid 10 quid for the game and I’ve enjoyed it far more than I enjoyed any of the more recent CoD games. Avoiding and destroying robots as a footsoldier is really satisfying, and so is beating other players in robot vs robot battles. It’s simply a really fun and polished game. It does have cosmetic mictro-transactions, but obviously those don’t affect the actual gameplay.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Are the Titanfall servers still active? Think in experienced everything I hate about CoD in that game session. People get more campy in every f*cking new instalment.

Wow ^ awful stuff, the first scene triggers me, camping with a PPSH
Notice how a large majority of those were spawn trapping? Its a big problem especially on USS Texas, if their team has the push you just get destroyed
Kill confirmed is somewhat better because you do have to move around for the tags but I usually stick to dom when I can, at least you know they'll be camping around the obj

Re: Call of Duty: WWII
Like I said on psn. When you learn the maps you’ll know where to go, when to rush, when to play tactical etc.
The game frustrated the shit out of me the first 3 days because of lack of map knowledge and not knowing the best weapon layout

But yeah, only use Mountain division since it’s the best one. Cold blooded, dead silence & not targeted by KS all in 1.
PP with grip & rapid fire = gg
Bar with mag & second is up to you (I use the extra HS dmg one)

Yeah, Dead Silence and more attachments are going to help a lot. I'll get familiar with the maps eventually. Their layouts are atrociously bad in my opinion, though

Re: Call of Duty: WWII
After playing this game over the weekend, I've come to realize that CoD: WW2 probably has the longest time to aim after sprinting, in CoD history. No wonder I've been struggling so much with my rushing style of play I sincerely hope they'll fix that at some point. As it stands, the best way to play is to aim down your sights as much as possible, especially when going around corners. Rushing is more risky than in any other CoD that I can remember. You'll be at a disadvantage unless the enemy player reacts a lot slower than you. In past CoDs, SMGs typically had lower accuracy and damage drop off at longer ranges, compared to ARs. The compensation for this was being able to aim and shoot faster after sprinting. There's none of that in this game, which is really fking odd.
Quickscoping in WW2 is the easiest it's been since MW3. Shame I simply don't know how to quickscope effectively anymore. Now, that effing makes me feel old. Used to be able to hit a fly from across the map in MW2 lol. Also, I don't know if you've noticed this, Sacci, but the time to kill feels insanely inconsistent in this game. Sometimes I have shit aim and my bullets barely hits the enemy, yet I somehow manage to kill them. Other times, it feels like I empty half of the magazine with perfect aim at the target, and all I get is hitmarkers. Headshots could be an explanation, but I swear I've dropped enemies by inaccurately shooting at their legs and hardly wasting any bullets in the process.

Did they ever fix any of it? They're probably busy working on that rumored Battle Royal mode.
