I'll be that guy to remind whomever liked Harmonica's poorly researched post that Ronaldo was very much there when Utd was 2nd on 12 points being the team's (joint) leading scorer (still is their leading scorer)...in September.

He had the chance to make up for it by going to City but chose United instead.

He wanted to find a family that appreciate him. Bet he is envious now. He could've been the one to score the hattrick last week and all the spotlight would've been on him

Ronaldo leaving Madrid shows us that the decisions in life should come from brain. not ego.

Both did. Real Madrid gave him an amazing supporting cast to maximize his contributions and he gave Madrid his prime years and complete devotion.

The difference between the two is that Madrid is an entity whilst Ronaldo is a human being. Meaning, Madrid can reverse time by replacing the old guards with young blood. Cristiano can't do that. He can't turn back time and can't re-capture his youth.

If he had left Madrid aged 27 or even 30, he would still have had a pretty good chance of winning the CL elsewhere. That's because in his prime, he's an unplayable monster and can single-handedly sink teams on his own.

But instead, he chose to give his prime and best years to Madrid and helped us win many prestigious trophies with so many clutch moments and beautiful goals I can't even count.

Eternal gratitude is what I have for this guy who I personally consider to be Real Madrid's greatest piece of business in its entire history.

The only thing that I didn't like (although he has every right not to do it and is under no obligation to do so), is that he didn't give a shoutout to Madrid last night for winning the CL. I would have liked if he had said something.

You know the only reason I posted that is because I realized he didn't post anything congratulating the team.

Knowing Mr. Factos I came to the conclusion he doesn't want to add to the perception that they won without him.
