Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 12
Harry Kane third and he's missed like half the season played so far
Top scorer over the past three seasons in EPL and he's done it at Tottenham
This dude is unreal. Time to lock that Harry Kane is a fraud thread. GL needs to put some respeck on his name. All I see doing it is BC and I

Will this affect United at all?
Ofc it will. The only remaining options atm are Bailly, Rojo and Blind and we have a shitstorm of matches coming our way. Smalling and Jones individually are arguably our 2 worst CBs. But still would have helped had they been available.
Because its Mou, can't see youngsters Tuanzebe and TFM benefiting cos of this situation at all unfortunately. He might play Carrick at the back in lesser games.

Lamela also finally gave in and decided to have surgery after 5 months of trying to recover
Amazing that Spurs are doing so well with so many key players on the sidelines for so long.

Bailly - Rojo are probably our best CB's best yeah I'm worried. Both are prone to being a bit rash, I prefer having them paired with one of Jones and Smalling tbh. If we get another CB injury CL qualification is over.

Agreed. To be fair though, the tactical switch from Poch to go for the 343 has minimized teh impact of Lamela's injury. Happy to see he's having surgery though. Whatever is up with him clearly wasn't getting better by treatment without it.
Hopefully the surgery goes well. This problem has been...worrying. Hope this isn't an injury that threatens his career at all. Doubt it will. Hope he's back for next season, been a shame to see he's been out this whole season especially after I thought he got off to a pretty good start (was outperforming Eriksen, Alli to start the season).

It's a shame because every season it looks like it will finally be his season until he gets injured.
I actually think he would do quite well in a 343, and he has the stamina to play WB if necessary (although not the tackling ability, he's always a yellow threat).

Legit thought Mata news was April fools' prank. We are effed.
Hmm. Last time we had this many injuries it paved the way for Rashford to break through. Hope Mou will show the balls to put Tuanzebe in defense. Won't be too surprised if the kid already looked better than both our 2 clown English CBs tbh.

Everton's back three look terrified whenever a Liverpool player is running at them.
Tom Davies already having a tough time in midfield.
