Sadly I can clearly imagine Inter selling Perisic and using that money for Bernardeschi/Berardi.

Just read that Roma will play a friendly in Detroit and thought of McLewis immediately. So happy for him.

Hoping Totti extends anyway and so he can experience Er Pupone playing in his hometown.

Lovely bit of globetrekking by Palotta.

Roma to USA from Serie A is clearly now what Tottenham to USA from PL are.

Mertens is GOAT. Napoli got 90m for Higuain and the emergence of Mertens who is a much better player overall. They don't even need to splash out on a CF now. Can only see them getting stronger. If they're smart they won't sell Mertens this summer, sure there will be a few big clubs interested. I don't think he will move.

The prospect of the talisman's playing days coming to an end has prompted many to suggest the capital club should retire the number he has owned for the majority of his career.

But the coach beleives it would be a bad idea, as many young players inspired by Totti will dream of wearing the same number in the coming years.

"I say that they shouldn't retire it," he told reporters. "Before Totti, Giuseppe Giannini wore the No.10... in the past others withdrew the shirt.

"But what about the kid who longs to play with that shirt? Do we want to deprive him of this pleasure?

fully agree with spaletti, unless it's to honor someone who died young or something, shirt's should never be retired.

Juventus: Neto; Lichtsteiner, Bonucci, Benatia, Asamoah; Khedira, Rincon; Cuadrado, Dybala, Sturaro; Mandzukic

Torino: Hart; Zappacosta, Rossettini, Moretti, Molinaro; Acquah, Baselli; Iago Falque, Ljajic, Boye; Belotti

Most of our starters rested which is great news

Mertens wife wants to leave Naples so that's where the move might stem from. The club has said that they want to keep him (and offered him anew deal iirc) but said that its up to the Mertens to decide.

They wouldn't need to splash on a CF anyway since they have Milik.

The only question about Napoli's immediate future is Sarri staying. Otherwise their squad is young and they have money plus some players to sell. Upgrading on Reina will be their priority.

I don't like this new formation of Torino in recent games. Puts too much emphasis on inconsistent players like Ljajic and Boye.

We've looked good but havent scored. If this continues longer Allegri will probably want to close the game and sub out Dybala. In that case I'm not so sure.

I don't think Allegri will push for the win late if its still 0-0.
