Lmao, that can be said about 90% of all footballers.
Besides, id rather he complain to the refs, than be a piece of trash that spits at people. Id bring up a current milan player, but none are relevant enough.

That's what happens when your club is so irrelevant, you have to clutch straws at everything else.

The truth of the matter is, if we removed Juventus from Serie A currently, the league would be dead. We are the only reason the league is still relevant to be honest, I've been watching Serie A for my entire life but in the last 5 years, were really the only team that can be considered a top European club (this is beyond performance but through infrastructure, revenue, brand, players, signings, management, stadium, you name it).

Hate us but you need us :fishing:

Many mistakes by both sides, very bad Hart on Inter goals and Perisic on Torino goal.

The FIGC has released its statement on why Juventus and Andrea Agnelli were deferred to the Disciplinary Commission for meeting ultras with organised crime links.

Today President Agnelli held a Press conference to explain that he had just been served with the deferment notice and would be strongly protesting his innocence, along with that of his collaborators.

While Agnelli admits to meeting with various members of the Juventus fan groups, he insists they had clean criminal records at the time and their supposed links to the Ndrangheta (Calabrian organised crime) were unknown.

This evening, the FIGC Prosecutor released his reasoning for the accusation and there seems to be relatively little in it that other Serie A clubs don’t regularly do as well.

“In the period from the 2011-12 season to at least all of 2015-16, Agnelli with the express intent of maintaining public order in the sectors of the stadium occupied by the ‘ultras’ fans and avoiding potential fines or sanctions, he did not prevent Juventus directors, players and dependents from having constant and lasting relations with the so-called ‘ultras groups’, which included members of organised crime, authorising the sale of tickets and season tickets superior to the consented sum.

“These tickets were also handed out without the presentation of ID, therefore violating the public safety security norms and thus knowingly favouring the phenomenon of ticket touts.

“He personally took part in some meetings with members of organised crime and the ‘ultras’, allowing them during Juventus-Torino in February 2014 to bring banned fireworks and banners, all aimed at assuaging and earning the benevolence of the ‘ultras.’”

If these are the accusations, then the only element that stands Juventus and Agnelli apart from every other Serie A club is the presence of ultras linked to organised crime – but as these men had and indeed still do have a clean criminal record, there was no way of knowing that at the time.

All Serie A clubs have very close ties with the ultras and give them tickets, while despite the rules barring the introduction of fireworks and smokebombs into stadiums, they are regularly seen in every game.

Hello (like it wasn't obvious for decades lol)

Hell given how much sway our ultras have over crowds at home games, I wouldn't at all be surprised if they had mafia links too.

This might be my ignorance, but this seems like a non-story.

The chip over the top from the Dutch Jesuus was exquisite. We literally picked up where we left off with Lyon today. Lots of intensity, focus, and purpose. Just a shame that it comes in a game that doesn't have as much riding on it like in a cup comp.

Interested to see what Paredes' face looks like after almost getting his head cracked open today. That challenge was just ugly.

Dzeko sitting on 21 goals now. Farcical that we won't win anything with him in such good form.

is he retiring after this season then? surreal almost, he's been playing since before I was old enough to follow football, one of the GOAT players, end of an era when he hangs his boots up

It appears that maybe the case if you're reading between the lines. I really don't know though. He did sign a 1 year extension, IIRC, so there's that.

Belotti:

“Of course I am staying. I want to remain at Torino. In fact, I will stay at Torino next season,” Belotti told Tuttosport.

“Let the Granata fans know! I am definitely staying.”

He is staying put until we need him Proud

Sarri wins the Panchina d'Oro award (best coach of the previous year)

Napoli Coach Maurizio Sarri has won the Panchina d’Oro, beating Juventus’ Max Allegri and Sassuolo’s Eusebio Di Francesco.

The Golden Bench is awarded to the tactician judged to have done the best work in the previous season, and the Partenopei boss has been given the accolade after finishing second in Serie A during his first campaign with the club.

“Usually awards don’t bring me satisfaction, but this excites me because it was voted for by Coaches,” Sarri noted.

“Five years ago I was in Serie C, it’s extraordinary. I thank my staff, at Empoli then Napoli and two people: Marcello Carli and Cristiano Giuntoli.”

Sarri received 25 votes from the 61 Coaches, with Allegri getting 22 and Di Francesco seven.

Ivan Juric won the Serie B award for his work with Crotone, while Cittadella’s Roberto Venturato was given the Lega Pro Panchina d’Oro.
