I believe Suarez will get his confidence back after this game. Him, dembele and vicinicus were highlights of the match. Dembele was average most of the time but he has that game changing moment almost every match

Couldnt be happier, with the result and the goals obviously, didnt expect it since Real played really well for a lot of the first half, but in the end we were resilient and our quality showed in the end.

I hope we are conserving energy, Suarez is too tired to do a lot during the game but man in the big moments he delivers. Dembele doing well since he was all over the place in this game, helping out defending with Messi and Suarez unable do, as well as pulling left and right delivering the assists.

Ter Stegen, nothing more need to be said, so happy we have him, hes really performed well lately.

Rakitic also had a top game.

This game shows we dont always need Messi to be all firing to beat good teams.

In control from start to finish. Everyone from the defense to the midfield played well. If forwards were in sync, this would have been a rout.

Dembele was on fire before the injury. He seems to be taking time getting it going. He doesnt shy away from the shot though. Couple of times the pass was on and he shot.

Terrific trolling from Pique. He has generally performed excellently in Clasico's throughout his career and tonight was no different.

Booted out the Spanish Cup, then basically got booted out the running for the league in the process dropping 4 straight bernabeu games to Barca, then a few days later get booted out the Champions League. Also that's now 4 games in a row they lose

yesterday we had a friendly basically, the copa de catalunya and we played with mostly B team players. I didn't watching it but apparently the stand outs for us were Puig, Tobido and Wague. Tobido played first half as a CDM and second half as a CB. Also when Stuani came on he hyper fouled the crap out of Puig and he had to miss todays training. Now they are saying he might miss an important B team gas this weekend vs Villareal B.

I watched the match. Todibo was not good in the first half as a DM. It was clear that he was uncomfortable playing midfield and we struggled. We were much better after the break when Oriol came on and Todibo dropped back.
I thought all the B players played well. Wague, Puig, Collado, even Miranda. Collado is another player I like.
Puig was targeted thoughout the match. the foul on him was very nasty. No place for such fouls in a friendly.

Less impressive performance from Riqui, he seemed a bit hurried in his performance. Less calculated and composed than I've watched him. Still, his passing was impressive and was at the end of some of rough playing from Girona players.

But seriously, he needs to take some growth hormone tablets. He's 1.69m and weighs 56kg. That's a small girl's physique not a football player's.

You I’m ok with Coutinho not scoring. But the fact his off the ball movement is so bad, the fact he does nothing to help create space or chance for others...that’s just too much. It’s baffling how much he has disappeared out there. Honestly Malcom running around would be better than having Coutinho out ther at this point. Even if Malcom has a bad game, he is still running around working hard out there and that alone helps open up spaces for others. Coutinho doesn’t do anything

Great game of football. Had everything. Intensity, great football and two great goals. We are playing on the backfoot because Betis are pressing outrageously. Roberto as usual trash. Pique putting in a Herculean effort to cover for the piece of garbage. The second goal was something else. Suarez with an ingenious backheel and Messi with a great finish.

That was a counter attacking performance of the highest degree. I am not a fan as it is against our ethos. But good performance nonetheless. The intensity from Vidal is something else. Guy runs and runs and runs. Special game from Messi. A very special hattrick.

Agree alot with u guys, Im not understand why Malcolm isnt getting more chances the way Coutinho is playing n even out for this game, I guess Vidal really deserves his spot though. He is the type of player u want in every team. He may makes mistakes and have weakness that doesnt fit us, but his attitude work rate and his strengths do so often make up for it.

Roberto's defending is really a worry, Im surprised hes preferred to Semedo in the big games tbh, when we wanna be more solid, then it should be Semedo, who also has improved a lot this season as it progresses.

Also to add, we've been lucky a lot of teams we faced havent been able to be clinical with the chances they created, I think this is something we need to try and sort out, we are letting way too many chances for opponents too often. Any of the top teams with elite scorers would have punished us more.

Every looks tired from international break; Suarez back to looking 50 years old. Some rest will hopefully help

Malcom in his 20 mins or whatever looked and was 100% more effective and dangerous than the 80 mins Coutinho played. The club should feel comfortable selling Coutinho this summer to recoup funds as Malcom should be able to serve well as a backup.

Suarez rested during intl break. He had a poor game and looked really sluggish. Seems players have checked out of La Liga.

Valverde should have used the opportunity to use some of the fringe players. Why couldnt he have played Alena, Malcolm and maybe Todibo from the start? Alena needs games and after a good run of minutes has mysteriously disappeared. Malcolm has shown promise every time he plays and yet I expect him to disappear again after his promising game today. Likewise why not test Todibo at CB? If he clicks, we could save the MDL money for other areas.
