The Danny Rose Effect
From one of the worst defenses in all of Europe to one of the best This with Walker as his partner. Makeshift CM in Ali. Dodgy DM/sometime CB in Dier.

Re: The Danny Rose Effect
That doesn't invalidate that he has been absolutely key for Spurs this season and has established himself as the best LB in the league
- Spoiler:
- Only used whoscored because a certain other user did so as well

Re: The Danny Rose Effect
You make it sound like Walker is shit then you post a picture that shows he's the best rb in the league. WTF.

Re: The Danny Rose Effect
Danny Rose still leaves something to be desired on the defensive end, but he's pretty decent there. Nothing special but he's not a liability.
Offensively no one comes close to his production on the left hand side. He's scoring, assisting this season and he's always been a threat on the left in terms of being able to get by his man and deliver a low ball into the box that will create danger. He can overlap, he can play more centrally.
I do actually think he's the best LB in the league. He's been improving the last two seasons and is a really good LB right now by PL's standards.
Walker is not as good as Rose, putting that out there.

Re: The Danny Rose Effect
Which good full back is good at defending any more? We live in 2016,the days of the well rounded full backs are behind us. Full backs attack, dms drop back.

In fact, very few teams have proper DMs. While defending, the MFs drop-back.BarrileteCosmico wrote:Which good full back is good at defending any more? We live in 2016,the days of the well rounded full backs are behind us. Full backs attack, dms drop back.

Used to be poor at defending, now he's making goal saving tackles like it's nothing.
Is he the best defender in England?
