Apparently Shane is going to kick off Smackdown tonight with a supposed big announcement.

The very premise of this scares the shit out of me.

A. He's going to announce he's going to be in the Rumble in 2017.

B. It's the start of an angle which will lead into Wrestlemania

C. Both

None of that is a good thing.

I still can't figure right now who could be the ideal opponent for Shane

Dolph just turned heel. But maybe he might not be a high profile enough of an opponent for Shane ?

This is why I said I'm scared, I think it's AJ.

Because in Vince warped mind he considers a Wrestlemania feud with Shane to be a reward.

Of course none of the fanbase do and consider a waste like it was with Taker.

I wouldn't be surprised if the build is somewhat entertaining but still I'd feel it's a waste and I'd say the same for Ambrose.

Miz is the one that makes the most sense as Bryan has been *bleep* him over constantly in his mind and obviously Bryan can't wrestle.

I don't think a feud with Miz would draw enough heat and basically any match with Shane would involve stipulations, it won't be a plain wrestling match. Looking at that POV , I'm not sure Miz is the perfect foil for Shane if you get what I'm saying. Dean would've been my pick as he revels in those types of matches and his character is one that would suit any storyline with Shane as long as he's heel that is.

I like Miz but I'm not sure it's going to make a great feud if he feuded with Shane. Shane's gutsy, badass character should involve a storyline with someone who's stronger than him or equally just as badass and crazy like him hence why I mentioned Dean.

Right now out of anything that people actually care about you have Goldberg Vs Lesnar two part timers.

Taker rumours. Part timer.

Cena. Probably done with full time rassling soon.

Nah thanks. Shane is a lad and I wish he had more control in WWE at the expense of Steph but I don't need his on screen character in another feud when WWE can barely get people to care about the current main eventers.

Great show though. amazing opening segment with Shane, AJ, Miz and Cena, AJ vs Miz match, Ambrose vs Orton match, that Ziggler and King segment.

Steel cage main event between the women now, hopefully it's good but even if it isn't its been a very entertaining show.

Rumble is next Sunday

I'm hyped AF, mainly because of everything they have done so far has made the match itself unpredictable ( Chamber match being for the WWE title instead of no 1 contender only helps that)

They have one Raw and one Smackdown to not *bleep* this up and actually have a Royal Rumble which isn't predictable for the first time in god knows how long.

Also Elimination Chamber match would look really strong considering it will almost certainly be this:

Styles, Cena, Miz, Ambrose, Orton and Bray.

All 6 have been on fire this year being a part of entertaining storylines and promos so it would definitely make for a great match.

Well this last SD was the first time he was a part of a promo involving main event guys and him having a go at the current wwe champion gives a hint that he could be a part of the Chamber match.

Yeah i think he will too, i'm just intrigued about the other slots.

Corbin is being pushed, the Wyatt's are kind of infighting, Ambrose is the IC champion although i wouldn't be surprised if that changes and there's the possibility of some NXT call ups for the Rumble.

Due to good, consistent booking and writing there's a lot of options.

Also good call to start building to it before the Rumble, it shouldn't feel rushed by the time we get to the Chamber PPV now.
