Looking at the goals, Karius was more at fault than anyone for Liverpool. It looked like they switched off once they 3-1 up but didn't have the quality in goal to spare them.
Still, this doesn't mean much for Liverpool's title challenge. They create more chances than anyone and have a good conversion rate. As long as they keep that up they'll be challenging.

its plain to see that liverpools problem is squad depth. when everyone is fit we are the best team in England. but if we lose a few players we cant cope. lets see who we buy in the next 2 windows. very bad day today but we are still in the race for 4th.

Mane off to AFCON. Cou out for a while. IDK man. Bournemouth had more shots than them today.
Firmino is invisible 7/10 games, he can't carry in Coutinho's place.
Can easily see them losing 3 out of the next 5 games.

If you're 3-1 up and cruising yet still lose the game, that's not a depth issue. Though I am curious why Lucas played when Klavan was on the bench.

at 3-1 up we were crusing. but when we came under pressure we showed where we were lacking.Jay29 wrote:If you're 3-1 up and cruising yet still lose the game, that's not a depth issue. Though I am curious why Lucas played when Klavan was on the bench.

Thought the protection and control was poor from Henderson and Can after 3-1

Quite frankly the whole team performance was disgustingly lazy and complacent from about the moment they had scored their 2nd in minute 23.
They had it coming already before HT.

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 7
have you guys considered that maybe in Klopp's system, CB doesn't equal CB?
maybe Lucas is the Matip replacement while Klavan is the Lovren replacement..

That is because they are rather not as good as some Liverpool fans on here think, especially in the case of Henderson.
It's their offensive power + Klopp's style of play that will get them most of the points they are getting. But that will never be enough in the PL, especially when the offensive power isn't greater than the other teams' in the league as well.
