Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 7
Two veteran players like Aguero and Fernandinho getting themselves red card at the end of extra time is actually an absolutely shocking lack of professionalism.
Sergio Ramos at the end of the Manita level shocking.

Anyone got a vid of Pep sarcastically clapping the referee, putting thumbs up with a big smile, too? Somewhere towards the end of the match. The guy's such a bad loser.

Should get investigated by FA. Far worse and toxic behaviour than kicking a water bottle
- Spoiler:
- Referee was quite systematically disadvantaging City though lmao

Disgusting behaviour by Fernandinho as I hope he is banned for long. Admirable by Cesc for not reacting which made him look tame but requires some gumption not to react to some provocative moves by the Brazilian. He had no reason to harass him in such fashion. Maybe cause Cesc is thrice the player he ever will be?

I know there isn't much going on up there but do you ever use your brain before you try to banter?

it's not banter. Both Manchester clubs will not get near the title. Pep needs time to get some consistency into his team and Man U are just plain shit TBH.Firenze wrote:Unique wrote:Well that's 2 Manchester clubs out of the title race before Christmas

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 7
Arsenal been shocking all season, countless lucky points, Chelsea got a lot of points luckily at the start of the season but have been playing well since, Liverpool have their one top player out injured for months so could easily crumble, united on the most unlucky run in world football history atm, City are dire at the back
truth is this is one of the most unpredictable seasons in memory, can't call what's going to happen at all

if it's not banter you're just plain stupid then
City are joint on points with you how are they out of the title race already, did you even watch the game today? Chelsea were clinical while City had the miss of the season and should have scored 4, there are no stand out teams this season, can go many ways

Seriously though, City are probably still favourites. Specially after Jan when they do get few defenders in.
But Liverpool and Chelsea have the advantage of 1 game a week. Between those 3 clubs.

City are too inconsistent imo. They look great one game and shit in another. Next season you will see the best of city and pep. He will buy 4-3 players in January and they will need time to bed in. Chelsea will win the title Liverpool 2nd city 3rd and Arsenal 4th. Man U down to 9th or something like that. Spurs 5th I think

Liverpools season is done with Coutinho out and Mane going to AFCON. Freefall time. Could see them finishing lower than last season tbh.

TBH when you see how Man City and Man U play after all the money they spent you have to take your hat off the klopp. Liverpool are £15 mil in profit and sit 4 points from top with a game in hand and are playing the best football in the league

Never mind defenders, they need strikers, too. Aguero out for four games and the only striker they've got is Iheanacho. I guess it will be between Sterling and Nolito to play as strikers, too, but that's pretty bad depth for City up front.
