Lol a bunch of idiots who didn't even watch match.
Him and Mane were by far our 2 best players all game. Watching a 3 second highlight of a slight mistake and jumping to their agendas, typical.

Re: The Matip Effect
And by the way the goal wasn't even his fault. He read the ball perfectly and was about to cut it outright before Henderson puts his head to it like a dumbass and deflects the ball away from Matip's trajectory and behind him. At that point it's all Karius' fault.
If I blame anyone it's Karius for not saving that awfuly easy shot.

Matip was the second best player on the field after Mane, What's going on here.

lads it was 100% matips fault for the 2nd goal. he had a good game apart from that but that goal was on him.

3 seconds slight mistakes don't count. An error has to take longer

No it wasn't. It was a fluke that put everyone involved in 50-50 positions.

Re: The Matip Effect
he didn't read the deflection and committed to the header he never came close to making. but that's only the 2nd mistake he has made so he gets a pass on that one. but we have no defensive organisation in the team and that's the problem.Nishankly wrote:Unique wrote:lads it was 100% matips fault for the 2nd goal. he had a good game apart from that but that goal was on him.

Re: The Matip Effect
How can you read a deflection?
Anyways lets just agree to disagree.

You didn't even watch the highlight of the play did you.
I should have worded it better. It's a 'perception' of a mistake. In reality Matip isn't even at fault whatsoever. Go have a look at video. The unnecessary deflection by Hendo completely puts Matip out of play. Otherwise he read the play easily and had it covered.

Re: The Matip Effect
Middlesbrough has BY FAR the worst offense in the league.
They have scored less goals than everyone, even Sunderland. They create less than everyone also.

Re: The Matip Effect
It should be Lovren who drops out when Matip's back, Klavan's looked pretty good, imo.

Klavan is very good. Not any worse than Lovren. But Lovren played well yesterday too tbh.

Usually, whenever McAgger bigs up a player, said player goes through legit bad matches constantly. Sign of the times?

lol he's just back from injury and not even 100%.
His true form was shown September-December before his injury. It will take a few weeks to get back to that level you ignorant sluts.
