How *bleep* overrated is Ozil ?

one of the most overrated players in the world, i have read the pathetic EPL fans who put him among the best midfielders of all time. Ah ah ah ah. I don't understand the hype about this player, clearly a player worst than David Silva, and i don't think he is better than a guy like Pjanic.

Ozil is a player who rarely performs when it matter, there are more big games about Pastore than Ozil. A player cutesy and irritating, who has 0 big tournaments in his carrer, which has only won one league like a starring and has never been able to drag his team in any moment of his carrer. Has won a World Cup probably as worst player of Germany, for sure his tournament was very average, and that he was there or not, I have not noticed.
He is the Rajon Rondo of football and I would take a lot of CAM over him: James Rodriguez, De Bruyne, Silva, Gotze, a healthy Pastore, Pjanic.

I was thinking of responding to this in a serious manner, but it's too early in the morning, so...

You have every right to have an unpopular opinion, Galileo did too, but unlike you, he actually brought forth enough evidence to question the consensus.

i haven't seen anyone put him in the pantheon of greatest midfielders of all time, i think you just made that up. for what its worth he isn't neither are silva or pjanic.....now if you were saying you can't stand all the media attention he's gotten in the last 24 hrs or during this season, that's one thing.

but i think you're trying to act like people are calling him goat just to say he's overrated.....many parts of his game still needs some work; and i actually do agree with you that he's like a rajon rondo of football, i recall saying that to someone a while ago....his pass/playmaking has often been a mask for what i consider his fear of shooting or attempting chances, similar to rondo, who defenders dare to shoot. but he seems to be improving that aspect of his game (i think)

but yeah, nobody's calling ozil g.o.a.t, i think that's made up

He's overhyped just like any other PL player, Which is obvious because a large number of fans watch this league around the globe and large percentage of them are uneducated in terms of footballing knowledge.

He's not overrated, He's one of the best players in the PL.

One of the best in the PL - maybe, but doesn't come close to one of the best in the world, let alone GOAT

Ozil is one of my favourite players especially from his spell at Madrid but I agree people overrate him at times.

He's an exceptional player but quite inconsistent I would say.
