Just as a fyi, what the french medias have been reporting in the past few weeks is that Pogba decided to change his attitude to put the team first and to help them win the WC.

After the first game vs Australia, Deschamps had a sit down with the team and prepare a bunch of videos to show individual mistakes and lazyness. He warned them they would crash out of the WC if they continued like that.

Two players of the team also spoke to Pogba and told him he needed to start playing simple for the good of the team. Pogba took it to heart, decided to make a change, no more useless trick, no more useless attention seeking haircut.

They all bought into Deschamps counter attacking scheme and now they won. we will see more of the same in two years in the euros, good luck beating this team lol

I know Jose is a negative numpty of the highest order (he lost to Montella after all) but Pogba's attitude and demanour on the pitch was not exactly stuff of professionalism or even effort. So yes, Jose takes the bulk of blame but Pogba ain't innocent either.

Also, lovely WC campaign from Paul, really impressed by him.

It's baffling that you lot blame Mourinho for his United performances over the last 2 seasons based on his WC games as his role in France's setup is closer to what Jose asks him up do rather than his displays at Juve where he was always the most advanced midfielder with the least defensive responsibilities. It's just that France has much better players than United who can't even play a forward pass from the backline
