Name is Shadow of the Tomb Raider. Hope there is no timed exclusive BS this time. Also Eidos Montreal (Deus Ex developers) are making it this time instead of Crystal Dynamics.

reminds me I still need to play the second one, completely skipped it due to the timed exclusive bs, not sure I should bother while UC4 is still fresh in my mind

If Deus Ex devs are making the next Tomb Raider, then there won't be a sequel to mankind divided for at least 4-5 years?

In fairness it took them that long in between the last Deus Ex and Mankind Divided lol.

Edios Montreal is pretty big. They actually co-developed the last Tomb Raider. I guess one team is working on Deus Ex and another is working on Tomb Raider.

what were deus ex sales like for the new one btw? felt like another game that came and went, not my kinda thing though

It didn't do as well as HR which sold 2.18 million. No definite figure yet but I'd say it would en dup being around 1m-1.5m

when were those HR figures released, 2.18m as of this year I could believe, especially with it being included in tons of cheap sales, but not buying it sold that much first month/year

doubt the new one cracked 1m sales, wasn't that much hype around it IMO

apparently HR did those in the first 2.5 months, fair enough, I remember some friends being hyped about it at the time

UK sales were poor for MD at launch

After 2 weeks:

Deus Ex: Mankind Division ~ 50,000
Deus Ex: Human Revolution ~ 150,000

and MD had 250K sales on steam first week

I don't think we'll be seeing a sequel for quite some time is my point based on the sales figures, looked like a game with quite a hefty budget

found on the NEOGAF thread that insiders said MD needs to sell 3m copies at full price to break even so they could even shelve the IP for a long time because it's not hitting that

yeah, I more so meant the concept. Although Infinite could be an amazing movie IMO if they left out a bunch of stuff like Lady Comstock etc. You been picking up the voxtapes btw? remember them adding tons to the story. Think I was missing 3-4 but didn't wanna replay ffs.
