Allegri is smart, very smart.

I had a feeling Dani Alves was going to score.
Most importantly we gained another player with great confidence,Pjaca.

Amazing performace.Scored,created and nearly assisted Khedira.We must use him more and Mandzukic less.

Great and important goal for Alves as well, hopefully he can up his game now that we need his experience in ChL.

If Pjaca will be a RM then we are in dire need of someone to rotate Mandzukic with.

Great win. Great control and mindset from the start. The team came out to control and calm the game down in an away game vs Porto and what a way to do it. At no point did this feel like we could lose.

I still hope he's a LW in the long run because they're just seemingly harder to get hold of. Having said that, with this unexpected formation change happening when it has, we just need to use whatever we can and take it on a game to game basis until we get a full Summer to sort out the wing situation.

The Mandzukic LM situation is temporary IMO. We are moving to a 433 in the long term I believe. This is why we are getting another center midfielder in Tolisso as well. Marchisio/Khedira-Pjanic-Tolisso in the center.

On our LM/LW dilemmas. Pjaca just said in an interview that he can play center or right, but that he believes his best position is on the left. Also, papers from Bergamo say that we want Spinazzola (23 yo) back from his loan. He has been really impressive at LM in their 3-4-3.

I felt he wasn't that fit yesterday though. I hope that we can play with him instead of Khedira with Pjanic.

i'm not afraid, if Barca is on our road to the final then so be it

Their bad defense compensates for the excellent MSN trio, i don't rate their defenders at all and i can't see Ter Stegen keeping a clean sheet in either game. About Juve, we don't know yet what the true potential of this team is With in forms Pjanic and Higuain i think we'll go through.

Their defence is really weak but my worry is even if we do get the lead we'll end up doing what we often do against legit teams and sitting back trying to defend it, compromising our one big advantage (Their suspect defence) because they'll all be in our half passing it in front of our defence.

We need to maintain a consistent attacking threat, even when we're in a narrow lead.

One thing about the game: Why didn't we see Sandro join the attack on the left? He stayed defended all game and didn't cross the half-way line.

We played our best football in first 15min. Not only I saw Barca poor going forward but also I saw we were willing to keep the play away from our zone by counter-attacking. We did go to park the buss somehow as the match progressed but with a poor performance by Barca we had it easy to keep a clean sheet.

I want R.M next , because I think it will be a higher possibilty for us to go through in 2 matches than one (final)
I don't consider it won yet , all top teams of last year clearly lacked smth and luckily we are on good form but still we have lots to do.

now we shouldn't be complacent, any of the last 4 teams can beat us, and likewise we can beat of them if we are on our game, certainly this is our best chance in a long while to win this CL once and for all and also for Buffon. (Hope if we will have to play Mehdrid, it won't be in the course of the final a la one leg as they are better when they play a one leg game, but over two, we can def knock them out, I do fear Monaco though even though it'd be fair to get them and let both Madrids square it out).

P.S: sorry I haven't been on here in a while, work keeps me very busy but I still do read a lot, you guys have done great in keeping this place going, great to see some of this forum's old poster legends, still on here posting.
