Keep the trident up front no matter what. Rotate Pjaca, Higuain and Dybala with Cuadrado and Mandzukic and get rid of the trash from the starting 11.

Don't see it imo. Maybe against Crotone or Pescara level teams but if we take big Serie A games or CL, Allegri is gonna take a super conservative approach.

In both cases you can take Pjanić  and/or perhaps one of the fullbacks or a midfielder off with Pjaca and/or Cuadrado to provide that pace and energy late in the game.

I would actually much rather prefer Pjaca used in a sub role for now as his late bursts of speed and dribbling ability could provide a bit of an unpredictability factor for the team.

I prefer the former. Honestly, I'd rather play with an extra CB than with the current Khedira.

Allegri will never play with 4 offensive players , not even against weak teams like Crotone so Pjaca-Higuain-Dybala supported by Pjanic as good as it seems will never play together.
We need to atleast play Higuain-Dybala with Pjanic behind them while we have Mandzukic,Pjaca and Cuadrado to replace each one of them if they are not in good form.
In midfield best we can do now is to see how much can Rincon improve over Sturaro.That's it.

What does any of that mean?

Probably about changing the logo of the club. Various sources have been speculating that.



Pretty bland imo. Not a fan of this new logo , if true.

I will share unpopular opinion. Mandzukic - Dybala works far better then Higuain - Dybala..

I would say that Mandzukic-Dybala works better for Dybala, but not for the team. It gets the best out of Dybala to have a CF heading down long balls and setting up his runs, playing with his "back to the goal".

Not for the team though, we are lethal with Higuain much more as a whole because his movement towards goal is really dangerous. His partnership with Dybala is improving imo and will continue to improve. Dybala is young and adaptable, he was a CF at Palermo and adapted to an SS last season. This season he just has to adjust his role from the main striker to sharing with Higuain. I think he is doing it well.

With a better midfield it will free him more as well, when Pjanic plays up front with him he is back to being more effective going forward with less tracking back.

Dybala is always trying to make Higuain score more goals, to the detriment of his own effectiveness.

With Mandzukic he plays more like himself.

I think the difference is we mainly see Mandzukic-Dybala in smaller/less important games where both are afforded more space and have less pressure. Both shine, it's easy to play off someone like Mandzukic because he's strong with his back to goal and has immense work rate.

So I think they both benefit because of Coppa Italia home game showings against teams like Atalanta (with all due respect).

However, Higuain is our best attacking outlet alongside Alex Sandro, Cuadrado and the already mentioned Dybala. I don't think its a case of Higuain-Dybala not being as strong as Dybala and Mandzukic, just the circumstances of when and where each partnership features.

I want to see Pjaca next game. This guy has to prove himself so he can gain confidence and so the players can depend on him. Last game, despite paying for 30 minutes, he only touched the ball around 5 times.

I agree with Luca. Try Mandzo - Dybala against top teams and I bet you'll end up with a broken TV or smartphone.

These stats don't tell us much. Its only 6 games without him starting, too small a sample. I bet those are tougher games too, we'd have to look at each individually.

Lemina got injured in Gabon. The length of the injury is not known yet (back injury) but his tournament is over so its at least 2-3 weeks.

For Lazio Alex Sandro is suspended. This is rumored.
