This is the case in most of our good games with the 3-5-2. You could clearly see that Alves was not pushing forward and played RCB, Chiellini as usual was our CB that made most pushes up.

Alves was Barzagli today. Played as RCB and then RB as needed but very restrained.

Cuadrado and Sandro made up a line with Higuain behind Mandzukic as you say. But thats the same as when Dybala plays.

is how we always end up in attack. This was our good version of the 3-5-2.

What I learned under Allegri is that we play 3-4 formations per game and always switch up.

We do but Pjaca, Dybala, Evra and Benatia are more important than him. I love the kid but that's the reality.

Would be the first time in the season that we are able what was our first 11 choice coming into the season.

I'm pumped for this game. Absolutely loved the Juve-Napoli in April (?) that Zaza decided. That was a game with extremely high quality play and suspense. One of my favorite Juve games in a long time. This time Napoli is not as close to the title, back then they were ahead of us and now its just the beginning of the season. But after Fiorentina, Inter and Milan we can't lose to another top team, it would look and feel terrible. Must win 100% game.

Give it all here and against Lyon and lose against Chievo if need be.

We are playing fine defensively but we are not creating at all

Its a tough game, playing how it was expected. Both temas just countering everything about the other's play. Can't really blame anything on any of our players, or theirs. This is Allegri vs Sarri so far.

Because he deserved it, apart from that mistake in the first half he was the only one trying to do something.

before Hernanes went out I think it was 442 with Marchisio as trequartista. Sturaro has to play more he closed the space so good and I see he has learned a bit in terms of handling and passing. After Hernanes was subbed I think it was still 442 diamond with Marchisio with 4 CM's no trequartista.

I love what 442 does to our team seems like Allegri is preparing us for a more offensive game and I liek it !

This change in formation(s) just makes us unpredictable. I can't read the formation he uses always.

Anyways, I'm going to Chelsea's game tomorrow here in Southampton and I'll try to catch Conte to get a photo or something with him!

I long for the day that we will field our best 11 for once. The lack of chemistry and understanding between our players is too obvious.
