So who exactly is going to stop Juve from winning CL next season?

Where is this unfounded confidence coming from? Juventus are still pretenders. It will be some time before they can be considered legit contenders for the CL title. Juventus do not yet have a frontline comparable to Real Madrid, Barcelona, or Bayern. need at least 3 legit goal threats.

Atleti don't have those things and yet they have got better of those clubs in recent years.

Need 3 goal threats? No you don't. Unless somebody can link me to some stats showing how 100% of CL trophies have been won with the winners using a front 3, all 3 of which scoring a lot of CL goals in the process.


Didn't realise all of these managers had is so wrong, when all you need to do really is play a 4-3-3 and spend 95% of your budget on 3 attackers, ignoring the rest.

Bayern, Barca, Real Madrid are still the top 3. Stylistically, we match up better against Real in my opinion. Bayern is hard to judge as they now have a new manager but I don't expect Ancelotti to do a poor job. If Juventus lose Pogba and don't address that gap in the midfield then Barcelona would probably body us.

Then there's Atletico that had a strong market and are a strong team but I think we actually match up well with them.

PSG will be good with Emery and their midfield with Verratti/Krychowiak will be very strong, they are being written off too early I believe.

We are tier 3 elite underdogs (:

Barça, Atletico, Real Madrid and Bayern can all stop Juventus.

But Juve are certainly among these teams now.

Juve are among the favourites. Have been for 2 years now. CL final in 2014. Lost in last minute to Bayern in 2015.

We are a completely different team in CL with EuroMax. I don't expect any difference this year. We will be right in the mix along with Real, Barca, Bayern and Athletico.

The draw is the key for all those teams.  Last year the draw killed us. This year could be different. It should be an interesting year for sure.

Even the best teams need a little luck. Real got lucky last year and had an easy draw all the way to the final. Juve had to play Bayern in the round of 16.

Of course if you are a favourite it shouldn't matter who you play, but a favourable draw always helps.

Yes but we beat the defending champion Real Madrid in the semi finals so we were deserving of making it to the final. You can't say that about Madrid this year. They played Roma, Wolsburg and ManCity to get to the final. And then won on penalty kicks.

Monaco was a very good team back than, we had more troubles with Monaco than Madrid.

And yes, it's our fault that we couldn't win the group despite beating City twice, because we couldn't beat fcking Moenchengladbach.

And also, disallowing a 1 meter onside goal at Bayern didn't help either.
