Here is Beckham's famous free-kick against Greece. This last minute goal qualified England for the 2002 World Cup. But the distance and curve on that free-kick is truly what makes it such a great free-kick.

This is a thread I will love. Times are changing, but when I was growing up I always felt free kicks were a prerequisite for any creative midfielder.
