S...  It is.  But regardless of what Juve management is trying to pitch, I don't think Juve could afford Higuain without the sale of Pogba.  And without a top level striker, Juve was always going to be an underdog in CL.  Heck, without Marchisio, I still think Juve are going to have a hard time in CL during the later stages.  So it all comes down to how Marchisio comes back.

I feel the same way. What an achievement it would be to win the UCL with a club that hasn't won it since 1996. If Pogba was 29 years old and wanting to jump ship to a club where UCL success was much more likely I would largely empathize with him. At the age of 22 does a player need to be that impatient? It seems the media bloat their heads making them believe they are the best thing since sliced bread and having vultures for agents only messes up with their heads even more.

I have the same suspicion. Maybe it's not just Pogba wanting to move but Juventus really want to cash in big time. Let's not forget that Juve are not a ManCity or a PSG splashing big money every summer. Most of their key buys in the last few years have been shrewd bargains. So it would seem the same mentality would continue and thus an expensive purchase could only be justified with an expensive sale.

It's not 90M up front ffs, its 90m payable in 2 seasons. We can afford that.

Its more likely that we win the CL before United qualifies for it than United winning it before us

You sold your record signing for a discount. I'd say you are more of a feeder club than we are. Plus you always feed your best players to Madrid. So Pogba is destined to play there in 3 years time.
