I really hope Matic is the one, I've said it several times in the Juve section already but he would be a perfect vice Marchisio and capable of playing in place of Khedira as well.

So is Mourinho gonna actually play Pogba as a DM? Isn't his formation a 4-2-3-1 and if so, doesn't that mean Pogba will essentially play the same role at ManU as he did in the Euros? That didn't work out too well.

Pogba has never played as a DM for Juve, we let him roam the field and let him go wherever he wanted. Sometimes he looked like a support striker, other times like an attacking midfielder. Pogba needs to be in a free role on the left hand side where he can get involved in the play and also track back when needed. He works best as a LCM in a 3 man midfield. I don't see how he can succeed playing as a DM in a 4-2-3-1 with Martial, Rooney, Mika and Ibra all in front of him.

Maybe the knowledgeable ManU fans can help me with this confusion...

It's not a DM in a 4231... It's a B2B. The big question is whether Pogba plays on the left or the right. You would assume he plays on the left. With Martial and Luke Shaw on his side, it's going to be pretty lethal.

Who plays on the right with him? Herrera or Schneiderlin?

There are rumors in France that Matuidi is headed to Man U as well. In that case, Matuidi would play on the left and Pogba on the right.

It depends what kind of fullback you have. With Sagna being slow and Umtiti being so green, Pogba played very low to protect those two guys. I'm assuming Mourinho will want Pogba to play more like Essien did for Chelsea when he was there... nowhere near as attacking as Pogba was at Juve obviously. But also nowhere near as defensive as he was forced to be with NT (stupidly I may add).
