Can't imagine any good coach taking over now at least until the AFA is normalized, which could take a year. All the best Argentine coaches have just signed new contracts (Bielsa, Simeone, Sampaoli, Pochettino).

So the clubs didn't release the players because they don't have to since it's not a official FIFA event. All in all that's still pretty shitty, its not like it's a bunch of talismans they aren't releasing, it's mostly 23 and under kids who would more than likely proudly represent there nations.
