As i said (have i said it or thought about saying it ? whatever...) I think it is important to buy folks that already have experience in Serie A.
A good name coming to my mind here is Dusan Basta of Lazio. Would be a great fit for our team.

He was never the best, all-around RB, but he did give everything in literally every match, consistent and reliable player. It would be a shame to let him go especially without proper back-ups.

Also Caceres is 100% sure leaving, so that leaves us.. without a proper RB.

The problem is not him on the bench or him leaving, is the fact that (hypothetically speaking) it is ushered by signing of an older player with a personality like Alves.

Selling your tried and tested veteran for an older veteran who doesn't represent the club is never a good choice.

Would have like Lichts to stay for the reasons I stated earlier. But if he decides to go, then lets move on and replace him with someone who has about the same style of play. Alves is average at defending and never played in Serie A before.
